Considering in a skirmish you can get maybe 30k on average but the games can be 20-30min long

Yes many of us do cry for the underprivileged AFK'ers . Us working merc's do feel sorry for you folk and understand the challenged need a helping hand.

We know how it must feel to be New Eden's welfare recipients. I know its not laziness like some try to say you guys are just weak and that's not your fault you were born that way.

yeah the matches last longer, ambush is 15 minutes max and it almost never goes that long. seems like ambush is the way to go.

Now the people who know me, also know that I'm dealing with these type of punks on a weekly basis in my personal life so I guess you could say that I've got some experience on the subject. That being said I rarely reply to these type of threads cause you know me: I don't give a ****! This time it's a little bit different though and with this post I'm gonna perform some straight talk, and here's how I'm going to lay it down for you guys. First I'm going through some of the reasons that make this whole thing curious, then I'm gonna delve a little deeper and give these guys some life advices. And guys remember that this is not a naming and shaming type of thing and I don't try to be too hard on you guys.

Now, guys, we've seen a lot of lazy fucks here on Dust 514 so that's nothing new but there's a key difference here with this new breed of lazy fucks. Let me give you an example: You guys remember when Mr. Spero from Imperfects was caught with his virtual pants down AFK farming in that MCC, guys? Well like any other aspiring CPM member he tried to weasel out of it, no big deal guys. That's a normal reaction guys. Not blaming Spero or anything. There's a chance the dude has turned over a new leaf and stuff like that. The point here is that the guy was ashamed of what he had done and he did what he had to do!

So that brings me to the current situation and the new breed of AFK farmers: The EoN alliance. Now let me be perfectly fair here and note that they probably have a small percentage of members who are stand up guys, so I do apologise to those few good dudes. As I said this is not a naming and shaming type of statement, boys and girls. Anyways it ends up that the EoN dudes have come up with this gimmick where they are proud of being lazy fucks! Man, would I love to hear the background of these guys! Everyone who knows me, know that I've been born and raised in a culture that values hard work, honesty and earning your own keep. Well EoN let me send a message to you guys right now: You haven't earned **** in my books!

Correction. CCP is working on the SP allocation system so that it benefits both the noobs and the veterans and not the AFK mechanism.

You see other than having a time based SP system like Eve (which everyone wil cry about);- CCP is in a catch 22 system. If they give more SP based on Kills or WPs;- the vets will rule. If they give SP based on time spent in game;- the vets will AFK.

Its gonna be hard to find the balance but as long as SP is based on time spent in a game;- AFKers are here to stay.

The funny thing is, all the vets that have been pretty much exclusively afk for a while now, have left a large gap, where new players have been honing their skills and getting SP.

I highly doubt the competition that will face the few that hardly actively play will be the same as when they decided to start to perma-afk.

Maybe some will relish that fact, but I imagine some will feel as though they are entitled to be better at the game and will cry when they are not.

It does turn some of them on, you know.

I still play some matches but usually not till I am capped so im not afraid of the new wave of players I have still some tricks they never seen and this is true for most of the AFKers vets and I never play for the fair fight like most of this new wave of players do. it'll be fun once may 6th comes about

Can't argue with efficiency. For what you're trying to accomplish, it works and you have legitimate reasons. Hopefully we can actually meet on the battlefield on May 6th though. 1. Very few of us AFK farm, actually alot just play Ambush. SyNergy mainly plays Skirmish and i can count on 1 hand all who are pissed bored with DUST's terrible red and blue dots so they AFK. So calling out an entire alliance cuz of a few....very chilidish and dumb of u.

2. Why are u so uptight about pub games? loosen that thong from ur butt buddy, the games mean nothing atm. If ppl were afking in a cb or sum then yea thats a reason to throw a tantrum but pubs? we talkin bout pubs here......not the meaningful fight but pubs?

Add to it you don't even account for the penetration at all. You are assuming a 100% penetrance for you to use these numbers to represent their alliance thats just a bad assumption.

Moreover I can tell you Syn and the rest of EON work pretty hard to be competitive and have their skills sharp as they are one of the few corps that will fight us no restrictions and all out on a regular basis.

That any of them AFK so they can go do other things or because pubs don't excite them is an indication of their work ethic is laughable. It not our fault that 99% of the base is so awful that its not worth the time to play them.

You know guys, I was inspecting this thread objectively, and I am objective about 85% of the time, and I decided to do a little follow up post, boys and girls. You see, ever since I broke the story on the wide spread AFK farming issue that runs wild inside EoN, I received a little bit of a backlash from the community. But if there's two things in this world that are true, they are the facts that numbers don't lie and that you guys know me and you know that I just don't give a ****!

Now somebody told me that there's an issue with my numbers, guys. They say I didn't talk about penetration... Let me tell you something right now, guys. The only penetration I do is in my bedroom (I'm oldschool that way) and there are under aged kids here in the forums for Christ! The fact of the matter is we have 4 out of seven EoN guys AFK farming as we speak, and I don't give a flying **** what that german sounding dude is trying to say to weasel out of this whole thing!

Now as far as Mr. CEO goes. Well aren't you such a big man, a ******* hero! Let me tell you, man, you helped OTB in a match. I appreciate that, no big deal. That's all well and good. What really pisses me off though, bro, is that you come here on the forums running your mouth about it! For a man of ANY culture that's an absolute no, no! If you wanna help someone, go ahead. But don't come up here later like a pompous piece of **** talking **** about what a big man you are! Jesus Christ! Well you're exactly right, 2ballzStrong. I'm sure you have seen some members of CRONOS AFK and we all know it's impossible to avoid rotten tomatoes all together and I already talked about Mr. Spero from Imperfects as an example of a guy who got caught his pants down while AFK farming in the MCC. The guy tried to weasel out of it but as I said I let that slide, I didn't make a big deal out of it, you know because he said he doesn't support it. The guy's probably turned over a new leaf and all that stuff.

The difference between the occasional AFK farmer and the supercharged, militant AFK farmers EoN is known for is a drastic one though and let me tell you exactly how, Lance. You see, bro, not only are you guys notorious for creating events specifically designed to get full squads out there to farm inside those MCCs and take away from the experience other people are looking for when they log in and try to have some fun while playing this game, but that's not enough for you guys! On top of that you guys come out here on the forums specifically looking for a confrontation to **** people off! And that's not all either, no I'm just getting started here, you see you also have a CEO who actively encourages you guys to take part in these activities!
