It's funny you say this, because CCP has already pointed out that they are searching for an appropriate fix for AFKing. I wouldn't call that working as intended

Yes many of us do cry for the underprivileged AFK'ers . Us working merc's do feel sorry for you folk and understand the challenged need a helping hand.

We know how it must feel to be New Eden's welfare recipients. I know its not laziness like some try to say you guys are just weak and that's not your fault you were born that way.

As many threads as you create about being on new Eden welfare we all hear your pain since the only way you are relevant and get any attention in the dust community is by being an AFK'er.

yeah the matches last longer, ambush is 15 minutes max and it almost never goes that long. seems like ambush is the way to go.

I would happily agree to an SP reset just to watch the wealth of complaints from all the AFK'ers. Talk about sweet tears.... I don't even care about the entire AFK thing. I would do it just because most of the AFK crowd are a-holes about the entire mechanic and their abuse of it.

Back on topic though, it could be a good time to get lots of wins if I am the only one on the ground hacking objectives in skirmish starting Wednesday.

I see. Well, not that your choice really bothers me but if it's not fun to "Grind" there are plenty of games where that's not necessary. FW and PC are coming out soon so it really doesn't matter but...I was just wondering why stay if the game is no fun? Since Grinding SP is ALL the game is at this point.

the only thing i can say against you SA is your trying to convert ppl in beleiving this is all fine and get them together to make afking really painful for casuals.

Can't argue with efficiency. For what you're trying to accomplish, it works and you have legitimate reasons. Hopefully we can actually meet on the battlefield on May 6th though. All you forum posters seem like you're really good at the game, and I want to put my skills (or lack thereof) against someone (Non-Pubbie)

DUST Fiend, you and Sentient both care a lot about Dust as a game. You both enjoy playing Dust. You both want the game to succeed.

Stop looking at every difference between your two approaches to the frustration of a long hard beta as insurmountable. They're not. Focus instead on those things we all have in common.

Sentient, and every player who has ever afk'd a match in Dust, loves this game so much that they'd rather electronically loiter in an MCC than play Skyrim, Defiance, hopscotch or baseball. Remember that! These players believe that what they gain now by afk'ing will be worth it to them later when the game is updated

Everyone should try to stop hating and blaming and flaming and try to understand what the other person is doing. And why.
