First match of the day I go 35-0 while feeling like a total wreck and in a logi suit. Almost all of my kills were OHK with no damage mods, I say nerf it to 30 damage or increase spread just like in the old days. |

i think the damage is fine but the range is a bit ridiculous, a bigger spread or just range nerf would be nice |

This. There's hardly any motivation to skill into shotguns when the militia unit with Weaponry 5 (which most people now have) can one shot any non-heavy up close. Rather than nerfing the high end, shotguns need the bottom end of the range drawn out to make upgrading worthwhile. |

Been discussed many many times.
Militia shotgun is just like any other militia weapon. So, it either mean it's fine or all militia weapon should have lower damage than their T1 equivalent.
Also, you may have OHK a lot of people with very little SP amount and thus very low HP.
At the moment, most weapons are fine imo. No nerf are needed, just slight adjustments. Let's stop with the sledgehammer. |

Yea...that 5 meter range is OP??? Do you guys know the stats of weapon before you ask for the hammer? If you do not...it is in the training ground section and done quite well. Your grenade has more spread...geez. |

I don't think they should nerf it, honestly.
Instead there should be a message that pops up every time you spawned with a shotgun that said:
"Warning:Shotguns are lame. By using one you acknowledge that you have no gun game and understand you will be teabagged as much a humanly possible."
On the real I wish they never put shotguns in the game, but since they did no use nerfing them. We'll all just have to deal with it and adjust. I don't really care if they nerf the militia shotgun or not, since would it really matter if they had to train the skill to level I and use a slightly more expensive gun? |

Shotguns require the ability to get close, so strafing or sneaking, and you do have to get the circle on the person.
Are you not smart enough to figure out "move away from the guy trying to charge me, he probably has a shotgun." ?
I'm pretty sure this is a case of intelligent play here. Or in the case of objective defenders.... Grenades to flush us out... |

Shotguns are fine.
Its the only gun in the game (I think) that doesn't get a damage boost from its skills, and requires a heavy skill, investment to be usable. |

Shotgun is fine. Once you hear the kickball, just be on guard around corners. If you don't let the scout get within 20m of you, it's not really an issue. |

This is wrong. Ive shot pleanty of assault pro and adv players at 0-1 meters from behind and not even got to armour using a CR, chimera and a KH4M

many of you obviously do not understand how the range works. the highest range shotgun has 9 meter optimal when I am not mistaken, that is without skills.
the keyword here is OPTIMAL range. they also have like 30 meters falloff range. most fights are under 20 meters due to map design and a shotgun would still deal more than 50% of its damage at that range if you have invested into shotgun & sharpshooter skills. a logi, scout and some assault fits can be still 2 hit at range of 20 meters with a shotgun. |

Still slower than an assault rifle. I'm also curious as to where you get this information? It usually takes me 3 hits to kill anything that isn't within 10 feet of me, and no, I didn't miss. |

The range is a bit ridiculous. Damage over the range should be reduced, or the spread increased.
Militia shotgun is too good to be free also.
People complain about the HMG range being too much, but with the spread it has it basically shoots spitballs at range...not shotguns. Both are suppose to be CQC weapons, yet all the tears are directed mainly at the HMG...smh. |

I can kill militia dropsuit easily but need 3+ bullet against proto, i think is fine, can imps stop said anythink is OP except their AR, plz stop |
