I can get all small missile turrets, I'll work on them tonight. Honestly while people are checking these things, I think this would be the post to put the % damage modifier against shield/armor for all the different weapons as well. |

Although things such as damage against shields / armour and how much the efficiency drops per 10m and headshot damage would be interesting stats. They would be better off in a more complete guide, this one was just intended for ranges. Maybe in the future I will add that to here once this guide is finished.

Max Range: 69.5(could sometimes get a reading on 70 m) Optimal Range: 1-40 m Meta Level: 10
Six Kin Burst HMG
Max Range: 69 m Optimal Range: 1-40 m Meta Level: 9
Freedom Assault HMG
Max Range: 93 m Optimal Range: 1-53 m Meta Level: 9
Boundless HMG
Max Range: 69 m Optimal Range: 1-40 m Meta Level: 8

Max is tough to figure without a friend because I think the missile disappear/explode not very far outside the optimal. Or at least it doesn't show an explosion. The efficiency number isn't accurate outside the optimal for that reason. |

Shoot at a friendly turret, if it reaches the turret it won't damage it but it will make the turret target you for a second before it resumes its automated rotation.
Besides this doesn't the target information dissapear when you are targeting outside of weapon range? |

Just a minor update, from testing it seems Forge Guns max range is 300m which is the same as optimal so I updated that stat.
Beren if you could get the max ranges for the weapons you tested I could add them to the list too, thanks! |

Right, status update, I rechecked all the pistols except for prototype with a new alt so got the right numbers. A great deal of the pistols were off by 2-4m for some reason and some a lot more. They have all been corrected and verified now.

Not sure if you wanted me to erspond to this or not but just in case, yes multiple by 1.xx where xx is your sharpshooter bonus to get the correct optimal range as well as correct max range. If you also have a sharpshooter proficiency then you'll have to do 1.XX * 1.YY where yy is the proficiency bonus. At least that is what I assume from other skill stacking in dust. I'll need to test it at some point when I get there (soon).
Also in your previous post you wondered how correct the stats are, well they are very correct :). They might vary by a metre or two but no more unless I've recorded it completely wrong. If you notice anything that seems off from your own experience or testing do say so and I'll look into it.

As far as the sharpshooter...
I have been testing the guns as I go up on my levels, and making a spreadsheet on their information. Also, the one thing that is missing (Sharpshooter Rifles) that I am adding is how many shots you get with each rifle before you have to reload. All the lower level SSR's only allow 3 shots before reload, and until you get higher (with added meta numbers) do the number of shots increase before having to reload.

the # of shots before reload is listed in the item info. If you hit triangle on a weapon, then R2 you'll get to the Attributes tab. On the Attributes tab you'll see "clip size". That's how many shots you get before you have to reload. Scrambler pistols are the only exception (for now) because the skill increases the # of rounds in a clip.
But what would be good info is the percentage decrease outside of the optimal range, and before the max if you're interested :3 |

I checked my alt, and he does not have one either. I can confirm that the Kaalakiota Tactical Sniper Rifle and Ishukone Sniper Rifle have the same range as the others sniper rifles (599m). One day he'll get a thale, and I'll try that too.
Lvl 3 sharpshooter, could see target @ 680m, but not at 690. |
