Max range of all large railgun turrets is 599 meters. Optimal seems to be 1-599 too.
Did they remove the experimental sniper rifle from the game? If so every sniper rifle's range is 1-599 (optimal and max).
Except the thale. I don't know what the range is on that. I'd assume it's the same, but I know this guide is for facts only ;)
edit: I have access to all large blaster turrets too, and those are a bit more interesting. Some do more damage at long range and less at close (like the laser). I'll post that in a bit if you're still updating this. |

-all 599m range, and optimal is 1-599. They used to have unlimited range, but CCP fixed that. Blaster should be easier to test because I can test that in our redline... no need to target stuff on the other side of the map lol. So that's every large railgun in the game ^_^. |

I'll do more later. I dropped in almost all of these for people in one game lol. Tanks galore! It was odd that people didn't want to take them. I was saying, "free tanks in back. Anyone? It's a decently equipped sica, but with a Proto turret! No?? Please take the free tank! #.#"
edit: on the 85m optimal range, it was more like 85.5m. For some reason it'd go from 100% to less than 100% within the same 85m. I figure your + or - 1m takes that into account. |

aww, lost a tank ;_; died 2 noobz lol.
got orbitaled while looking @ map and then shot after killing another tank >.< Although I kind of ****** up that time lol. Note to self: don't post on forums while killing tanks lol. It was a blaster tank, how embarrassing! I should be able to get out of orbitals too ;(
i'll send myself some more $ from an alt when a director gets on and then finish testing in a little bit :D
edit: nvm, i forgot i bought all the tanks and turrets in advance lol. Just need to buy that other blaster again and I'm gtg ^_^ lost some cash during cbs so now I'm almost poor. I'm also way too lazy to just call in one tank per battle >.<
edit edit: cool, if you post tomorrow i'll edit it and make it all organized and everything for you. I can get the meta lvl from the market. Idk why you need it tho :o I thought about it a little bit, and would you like the shots to overheat on the railguns? I know most of the compressed are 3 to overheat, but the others are 5. There's one (the advanced) where you can get 6 to overheat. I think it might be a bug, but who knows. Also, it looks like I was mistaken about some blasters acting like the laser. They might have changed it, or I just ****** up. I'll finish testing to find out :o |

ok... so what's odd is the 80GJ Stabilized Neutron Blaster. It has a slightly bigger max range and max effective range. The stabilized variants have longer range and max effective range than their counterparts, but the 80GJ Stabilized Neutron Blaster shoots even farther than the proto stabilized version. I tested it twice to be sure :p.
edit: I realize I forgot to test the Militia 80GJ Railgun's range. All you need to do is buy a sica ;). I'm going to take a break.
Also, one of the advance level railguns fires 6 shots to overheat instead of the usual 5. I'm guessing that the 6 shot rail (proto can only do 5) and the stabilized neutron with its longer range were intentional.
edit edit: I only spent a little less than 4mil, so that's not as bad as I thought it would be. If someone wants to repeat it, they can expect to spend ~ the same (I had a bunch of extra turrets already). |

These are the range values for a few pistols. These values are what I found with lvl 4 sidearm sharpshooter.

the # of shots before reload is listed in the item info. If you hit triangle on a weapon, then R2 you'll get to the Attributes tab. On the Attributes tab you'll see "clip size". That's how many shots you get before you have to reload. Scrambler pistols are the only exception (for now) because the skill increases the # of rounds in a clip.
But what would be good info is the percentage decrease outside of the optimal range, and before the max if you're interested :3 |

I checked my alt, and he does not have one either. I can confirm that the Kaalakiota Tactical Sniper Rifle and Ishukone Sniper Rifle have the same range as the others sniper rifles (599m). One day he'll get a thale, and I'll try that too.
Lvl 3 sharpshooter, could see target @ 680m, but not at 690. |

I have one more question too- will the missiles do damage at 188m? I'm not sure if they changed it, but there were a number of shots from different weapons that looked like they hit a target or objective, but ended up doing 0 damage. |

prlly should check all of the turrets.
The Large Missile Installations can hit targets at ranges of over 217 meters. (Just check the LMT on the 4 point map- south spawn LMT can hit the supply depot) |

wtf.... so I am always curious about all turrets, so I started playing around with the LMT installation turret. I saw a sniper @ 412m out, and it said 0% and did not give me a red target. I shot a volley at him, and I got hit markers and he took damage. One more volley and I killed him.
So I have no idea what is going on. I know they are playing around and trying to make LMTs better.
Thanks for testing the LMTs on tanks btw ^_^ I haven't skilled into those beyond l2, so I could only test the large hybrids. |

I think you forgot to change the value of the 'Flashbow' CAR-9 Burst Scrambler Pistol. It has the same range (max and effective) as the regular CAR-9.
(I just double checked on my alt :P) |
