Pretty much throughout my teens and even after I may have watched too many action movies. Whenever I heard a car ignition I always expected a following explosion.
I have been able to get over this in the past 10 years or so. I hope this doesn't come back in some other strange form... |

Instead I waited for the police helicopter with twin miniguns to sort the problem as its just another daily shootout on the streets where I live at.

I sit on the pc which my headset on. So the high tone of the vent right to me get fade out. Every 10 seconds I look to the right because of the low rumble there and I think a tank is approaching. |

My thing is i try to jump as my scout and end up hitting a fence.
Damn feet.. getting in the way.

When you go to bed trying to work out the optimal drop suit fit for your style of play, dreaming about said kit, waking up 8 hours later still not having perfected it, have a quick shower thinking bout said kit, realizing your late for work because you have taken a 1 hour quick shower, getting honked at from another car because your at a green light and still cant work out the best fit, locking yourself in a room at work with a do not disturb sign on the door because nobody at work is going to know the best fit, running out of paper in said room and writing calculations and skill points needed all over your body, being forcibly removed from work for some reason you cannot understand as you try to work out some way to squeeze 1 more cpu out of the dropsuit.
I dont like Tuesdays

So, it's last Sunday and I've been playing DUST all weekend. My teenage son is in the kitchen talking to us about re-arranging his room. He wants to move the bed over this way, under the window.
The very first thing I think of and then say is," But then anyone coming down the side of the house can shoot you through the window."
Dead silence in my kitchen. I'm all, " oh damn, you know when you play Tetris too long and you start trying to fit stuff together in your visual field after you put the game down? I think I played too much DUST." |
