I honestly don't know if it's possible but what about a gamemode that ONLY ALLOWS 8 men squad, like the squad cup tournament but that includes all the gamemodes, like squad vs squad, no blueberries, only greenberries, squad vs squad. Not pc, something more like the squad cup tournament

If one of my corp mates gets scottied, and I will usually leave to go and pick him back up. Your suggesting that if someone gets scottied, oh well they have to wait until we are done. Reactivate the full-length war room countdown (what we call the warbarge lobby) in all FW matches.
This used to be a good 5 or 7 minutes long. It was truncated due to previous players' refusal to use the time productively for strategy and MIC discussion. Since then the player community has rotated a bit, and new players are trying FW matches. They should have a chance to play FW the more-strategic way it was intended, and they should be allowed to try using the War room.
Many of the new-generation players may prove to be better organizers and tacticians than the original band of Dust players.
Universe of good wishes for the 49, especially CCP Eterne...

Add more movement reduction to armor and have sheild light up like a light house on all scans passive and active. Your losing either mobility or stealth. This would balance it out. Dual tankers would gain survivability but lose any ambushing ability they may have had.

I use one on my assault occasionally. You only need one it's fitting requirements are ridiculous as is. But this would help balance out armor without increasing fitting cost which would be much worse than losing anther percent or two of movement. |

Haven't finished reading the thread but gotta get to work, so:
For the in-the-dirt gameplay:
1) Get shields in the game: Drive the changes through modules, personally like regulators for this.
2) Rifle balancing pass: This is what we collectively do best, and we're pretty close now. AR needs more cqc, scrambler & ARR need less.
For the overall game design/game experience:
1) Game experience: address match leaving. Game design: Do this through a first iteration of a contract system for pubs.
For the quality of matchplay:
1) Address the power of shared scans, especially in pubs. Primary game mechanic that enables easy stomping, imo.

Fix non-full battles at start and not adding players when someone leaves battle mid-way through.
Fix payouts for when you enter mid-way through a battle so that when you are added you will stick around i.e. get payed a reasonable amount instead of the crap currently so everyone often leaves if deployed to a battle mid way through. |

The one fundamental, imperative, crucial thing which needs to be fixed, is the lag. What kind of lag do I mean? Lag caused by your server, not my internet is the only way I can describe it.
I keep shooting at people who stand still, my rounds do not deplete yet I'm firing, a few seconds later the game works out where everyone should be and places us at the right position, but for a moment it hang it tries to think and the game stops for a few seconds.
I should not be experiencing the same lag I am on fibre optic broadband, that I did on a 6mb ADSL line. I have upgraded my internet substantially yet am still getting the same problems, I am adamant that the problem is on your end.
I upgraded my internet just for DUST, I spend real money and am not seeing an increase in performance. This issues have plagued DUST since day 1. Sometimes people rep their shields over my fire.
People should not be teleporting, sometimes it's 1 person, sometimes the whole team shifts, like chess pieces if you were to blink and suddenly you'd lost the game and had no pieces on the board.
This is 100% a problem on your end and is what most people are referring to when they talk about lag. It's server-side, the server is having problems taking enough instances of where players are and seems to not know what to do next, the server isn't running smoothly it's stopping and asking for advice from all the other servers.
I haven't had it for a while but I used to have an extremely bad problem, if I was to stand on a ledge or the edge of a building, the game would lag and I would be thrown off of the building. There is also some weird problem with rubber-banding, only you're rubber-banding to a place you never were, usually you are placed back in the spot where you were before you started lagging, throwing me off of buildings is completely random.
Why is the server somehow shifting my position when I'm not inputting any commands to the controller? Look CCP I'll be as real and honest as I can, I'm a very technical person and there is no way I will not notice things like this, I have a very good eye for noticing when something isn't quite right and can always explain my theories, this is not a shot in the dark from some crack pot conspirator, this is a genuine fan of your game who is telling you that something is inherently wrong with your servers, I play on the European server only.

1) the scrambler pistol, burst scrambler pistol needs a tweak 2) Shield buff : reduce delays on every caldari suits, increase their regen a bit, bring the treshold to 14 and most important, reduce PG/CPU cost of extenders 3) change the caldari bonus to kick reduction and charge reduction to rails :)
