I sincerely regret ever putting any money into this game. And I have put quite a lot, to a free game anyway.
CCP, would you like to enlighten us on how long does it take to reach rank 4 by just playing the game? No AUR, just playing. And weGÇÖre not talking about no-lifing that crap, no, just few hours a day. How many wins and logins? So in essence, what is the expected waiting time for a new player to start trading items? 6 months? Maybe a year? YeahGǪ Nice job. Introducing a feature that is exclusive to long time players is quite insulting. And there are some long time players that are not even rank 4 yet. You are just awesome with your fear over alt farming.
If you want to add a rank, have it at max 2. It still takes time and effort to reach that. I also find it hilarious that those people that are willing to line your pockets are free to farm alts to their hearts content.
And scrap that stupid trading fee as well. We donGÇÖt have any interaction with NPC corps so it doesnGÇÖt make any sense. If you ever start building on that then maybe you can make a fee. For now though, itGÇÖs just ensuring poorer players are shafted. And new players, but I guess we donGÇÖt have to worry about them as they will not be trading.
I would like to add that these opinions come from a Major (rank 9) with 300MIL ISK.

Two of my alts are well over a year old and already get screwed out of a feature.
Casual play amongst multiple accounts and characters is frowned upon, apparently. Either sink in massive amounts of time and/or money on a singular character, or GTFO.

First of all, it's not true that you can gain level 4 so easily, i'm lvl 5, i play from the open beta and i've bought a few aurum (15-20k)
Sencond all of us has been demoted some time before.
Gain levels is almost impossible without AUR and you know it very well, but you act like you don't.
This ain't even a protection system, if a new player decide to pay 50k aur than he can do what he want.

Playng since open beta and still level 5 my alt is 6 monthes younger( 35 mil sp) but rank 3. I ve never bought an aurum but it seems a bit ridicoulous that i cant trade , it was better if it requires rank 2-3 and 15-20 mil SP? This is my opinion.

At most it really should be is 2% for such an unsecured transaction. For example, the base sales tax fee in Eve is 1.5%. You then have skills that lower that further to 0.75%.
You might want to consider having either the warbarge have a slot that reduces the trade fee, make it where Jara lowers the trade fee, or add skills that lower the trade fee.

I agree, the tax/fee could be a one off price or a low percentage. especially when is this easy to get scammed. 
And the war barge slot s an idea as long as the gaining of this bonus is not paired by an unholy components price.
About jara idea, i don't have her in my quarters and want to keep it that way.

Also...
I expect this system to lead a makeshift Bounty-System. People posting bounties somewhere and then others posting pics of them killing the target several times and get the ISK in trading.

I've been playing Dust 514 for 1 and a half years now without spending money for aur and I'm still rank 3. I think the requirements should be rank 2-3 because otherwise it just cuts new player out of trading since rank 4 is really hard to reach.
Or make it based on lifetime sp. For instance 20mil lifetime sp sounds good.

I used to play Dust every night. I would normally cap out on my main over the weekend, so I had an alt on another PSN I would break out before the weekly reset, I'd say I averaged an hour or two a week of gametime on that character for over a year. He's still rank 1. Anyone who says you can earn ranks without spending aurum is a bald faced liar.
Hopefully CCP listens to the voices in this thread. At the very least, down the road when they implement BPO/booster trading, perhaps they can remove the restriction for normal items.
On a side note, will rank 4+ players be able to give items to newer characters? At least then the veterans can arm the rookies in a form other than straight isk.

As others have stated loyalty rank 4 is too high and why not just have a confirmation window for active trades? Simple really, give item A for item X or ISK, confirm trade yes or no. Transaction done. |

As you can have 3 characters on an account, doesn't the loyalty rank cover all of them, rather than just the main one used?
I see the rank come up before my alt's name in the killfeed.

We've had the give ISK option for a really long time so that makeshift bounty-system already happened just not that many people that care enough and/or have enough ISK to set bounties on people.
It's hard to believe I was once one of the biggest fanboys Dust had.

The requirement for Loyalty Rank 4 to have access to Player to Player trading seems very steep for anyone who does not purchase AUR.
As an alternative, how about Loyalty Rank 4 or Faction Standing of 4 in Faction Warfare. (The FW Standing Rank requirement can be higher than 4 if necessary to tune it to the appropriate level of effort.)
This will provide a way for players to grind to get access to Player to Player trading in a predictable way (as AUR is the only component of Loyalty Rank that people can quantify.)

I would say any rank should be able to receive items. Only Rank 3 or above could send items. That way you can still sell to new players, there is no restriction on ISK sending.
