So it's finally coming and my nearly 3-yo main won't be able to trade? I've been stuck at Rank 3 since ranks were introduced and I play several matches almost every night. Guess it doesn't matter, since I wouldn't be able to get my BPOs off my ~20M SP, regularly played Rank 1/2 alts anyway. You should probably consider basing it on Lifetime WP or something that *actually* represents time spent playing.

So i wonder what i have that everyone else wants and is willing to pay an arm, leg, and a clone for... kubos, ghalags, aldrins... got heaps of things just collecting dust, pun intended lol. |

Oh really? Just wait until people start trying to find an easy way to communicate the visibility and track their owned assets for sale. Trust me this will quickly become a very tedious and painful process quickly. Given the performance issues off the contact lists right now, combining it with asset queries over and over will involves taking minutes just to make a single trade, not to mention all the times a trader will be asked what they have only to have to waste so much time checking our maintaining their own out of game library. |

Since we still have until later this month to discuss this, I like to point out that Loyalty Rank 4 is a bit high for my liking and I'm rank 7 right now.
I say reduce it to level 2. That's reasonable enough I think.

It's for the best that doesn't happen on day one in case of bugs. I would rather lose my BPOs to a scam than to an in-game glitch.

Well, looks like nobody will be getting any of my stuff because of the fee. It's not really about the ISK because I have no problem giving ISK away even if it takes me below 1k. I try to be a generous person and most of my stuff I was planning on just giving away because I won't use it and I don't care about the ISK, but with this fee I'm being punished for being a nice guy. On the other hand even if I were to "sell" them I'm sure as hell ain't about to pay a fee when there is absolutely no guarantee that I'm not going to get ripped off.
So fck that noise, I just won't "trade".

I wouldn't put much stock on the image until CCP makes a clear statement on how fees will work.

I think the CPM candidate requirement is likely a higher bar to reach than reaching LR4 without aurum.

Good plan, but its a shame that players who have not spent aurum for loyalty ranks are essentially cut out of the market.
Its in the devblog itself, by just playing getting two or three characters to level 4 is virtually impossible. Unless somebody just drops a merc pack on each one. Then use that aurum to up the warbarge, and farm double the amount of experimental weapons tht way. Its an 'exploit ' (more like an expensive farming method' that wil be profitable to CCP of course, which i dont have any problem with.
I've gathered roughly 10 mil SP since ranks were released, and even then only upped my loyalty rank one level when i bought 100k aur. This is what makes me concerned that a large amount of our small player base will be cut out and not the bitter vet forum warriors like myself, who frankly don't care, we are high enough already.
Iif there is time to change an aspect before release, it really shoud be a reasonably average warpoint haul. That is something earned only through playing, and a goal that would encourage newer dust bunnies to stay rather than either alienate those who have spent time, effort and energy but not cash on this free to play game. Rightly or wrongly, loyalty ranks are believed to nbe tied to aurum. After announcing that dust is profitable at fanfest, a lot of those players will wonder why they have to spend aurum to acess a long prmised feature.
tl:dr, it should be more inclusive, instead of exclusive. Kill alt farming with WP requirements, not with L.R. requirements.
