Has full damage of a knova knive with and without charge Takes 1.4 secs to slash and 2.7 secs to charge slash.+4% decrease to charge as you lv up. Nova sword looks like a nova knife but longer,has a range of 3.5m The Amarrian Blade same as a nova sword but golden color. So what do you think? If you have any ideas then please post. Ps. Edit: it's basically a boxing glove, but when activated, it creates a static field around the glove and thrusts the user forward a short distance with great speed, dealing a good amount of damage.

Yeah. Something like that. I'm thinking of like full gauntlet and sleeve things here. Covers most of the arms. Punching forward would cause jets on the elbows/wrists/shoulders to boost you forward at high speeds. And of course, there would be some sort of damaging implement on the fist. Would be a good compliment to an Amarrian spear, too. While the spear does a good job at keeping conventional melee weapons away most of the time, something like this would be a bit tougher to defend against. I imagine the amar imperial/honor guard and or shock troopers would have large imposing two handed blades while the caldari would benefit from the ability to immobilize enemies(if they were to utilize melee weapons) because then the allied rail rifles on the hill don't need to track enemies through cover.

Everything is good but why give them whips Because they can be used as snares which kinda harkens to the tribal Savannah mentality, plus because they focus on tactics like flanking (due to fast movement ability on suits) it would allow them to flank opponents and drag them out of cover in addition to being an effective weapon. Plus its gotta feel good to use the whips on amarans after all those years. And I say large blade on the amarans because a blade is a weapon, not. Tool. It is employed yo slay your enemies. I will admit to only a cursory knowledge of lore but that seems more amarran to me. Short answer:whips are more versitile so give them to minmatar, blades make more of...a statement of overwhelming force, and martial superiority. Give them to amarr. Although I could see a warhammer as well now that you mention it...

I propose a net/ polearm for 2 reasons; it satisfies the requests on the boards I've seen for a stasis webifier equivalent, and it fits caldari doctrine(in as much as a melee weapon can) by immobilizing the enemy, thus stopping them from closing ranks with(theoretical) gunline allies, and can be used to strand someone out of covers...a sort of advance defense. Also spears have the longest reach of melee weapons traditionally used in warfare. Minmitar whip: because again it can be used as a snare which harkens to their Savannah hunter heritage, and is more tactically versatile. Amaran great sword: really brings home the idea of superiority when you can kick a vehicle... So yeah I wouldn't say they aren't reflective of the races if you think about them beyond aesthetics.

That is a reason in and of itself and a valid one, it also adds to variety, and introduces new strategies and tactics, just like the myfibrils do. These are alid reasons. Period. As is the fun factor.
