Whips would be laser base.
L1 is stopping the victim in is tracks
R1 is inflicting damage on target.
Cannot be used on shields, only armor.
Uses would we, swinging, wrapping target, and forces target to either switch weapons or halt in shooting, last for 2sec.
Damage-098-126hp depletion.
Amarrian whip is offence and stuns.
Minmatar whip is stunning and movement base, such as swing
Can be used to force someone off a ladder.
Ps. These are energy whips or light whips, cannot be used for kinky measures.

Both really, I aim for the weak points in the head that are softer. I tend to hit softer because the guy I hit might die if I hit hard enough. I check to see if their still alive, good thing they all are.

Shield descriptions Present
Energy Shield-a broad piece of rare metal or flux energy shield fused for absorption of any possible lethal or crippling attacks that may cause injuries, held by linear gravity condenser, used as a protection against blows or missiles. If one was strong enough, said person would be able to so survive and Orbital Strike at a fair distance(Not take it to the face and live.)
Invented by the Jove for profit reason(don't know why) these shields are near indestructible, as it was tasted in a blackhole and survive with its shape hardly altered and nearly no scratches.

They do melee splash damage in an arc ahead of you, charge for longer arc + more damage.

1.) Whips are dumb. Not a combat weapon
2.) Besides more melee weapons, the entire melee/stamina system needs an overhaul. Things Dust 'eventually' needs
- More melee weapons.
- When you run out of stamina, you should still be able to strike, just at less damage.
- A way to block
- A counter system
- Simple combo's, which require stamina to execute.
With all this, there could be some really fun and dynamic melee fights. I'd love to look up and see two scouts ninja fighting on some walkway.

1. Thats what I said, but I placed it in because it was annoying me.
2. Most definitely but more weapons can happen later, I can wait 2yrs for them. But if its not future base someone is getting kicked in the nadds.
Counter and block should be a thing.
Heck, you should be able to take 6-13 damage off if you block with a gun, but it should cost you amm in turn.

I always imagined The Amarr using a short sword like weapon, like an eve version of the kukri; A "sword of devine fire" as they would put it. Google "modern kukri" images and you'll find a lot of sci-fi looking designs. |
