They will not provide it because their laser focus on PS3 needed a slight adjustment and a different target! A different platform and a different game. Now they want us to move to Legion and expect the same over there. I am not moving, because I expect that they will treat their Legion customers exactly the way they treated us. It will be interesting to see if Legion ever reaches a release quality. For a real game, not a CCP game. EVE is still in beta from what some of my EVE friends have commented. Which may be a joke, not being an EVE player I am not tuned into their jokes. Nobody at CCP cares because we ain't Legionnaires.

We're hoping for something by the end of this week. Here is the thing saberwing. For us dust players there is a disparity between what we consider soon and what CCP considers soon. Many of the playerbase i think is American we are generally not known to be patient. Myself when i am told soon I expect it in a 1-3 day timeframe. CCP seems to think soon = some time within the month. What would be really beneficial would be giving more concrete deadlines. For example rather than saying soon all the time for everything say " We are working on a statement to give the most accurate and concise information, we have groups discussing the options now and plan to be able to release this information by EOB friday the 16th" Statements like this let the playerbase 1: know that there are talks about what is going on and 2: gives us a reasonable expectation of just when we should see more information. Of course REALLY smart would have been to have all this information at the ready before dropping the bomb at fanfest. However after doing a few google searches i have learned that CCP rarely learns from the past.

Most of the player base was brought to believe that support for this game would continue, and eventually it would be moved onto the PS4. Then fanfest rolled in, and the rest was history. The player base wasn't given a single clue as to what would transpire. Essentially, this made the player base feel like this whole thing was a demo. Also, play testers. Play testers that pay the company to test their game. A forewarning should have been made. Nope, diehard dust fans expected some update news, or a possible move to the PS4. Man that must of really singed. I understand the anger, and frustration. Especially from individuals who have supported the game, and CCP themselves.

In addition, I consider the weekly SP bonus cycle the fkn "week" simply b/c it is how it is referred to in every game oriented element (i.e. events). Suddenly the "end of the week" is a normal week. Go figure. Anyway, to the OP. It has been confirmed so many times that they will do zero major updates and only "back end" updates that I have lost hope in any body ever trying to EVER figure stuff out on their own. It's not even a joke. I mean there is an average of over 1 post a day asking this question. Today is the first day I have only seen it once since the announcement of Legion. I don't care what CCP and CPM is alluding too. Don't get excited because it will be another dissapointment for those involved. Play with your friends and make the bset of it with them and then if something cool happens great then if not oh well. BTW, I never got my omega from the effing email.
