This kind of **** has been said for almost two whole weeks now. We still have zero concrete information on the future of Dust. Before the Legion announcement, CCP would at least hint at when the next patch would be released and maybe what would be in it. But now there's basically nothing at all. Total silence. This is the worst possible time to be doing this. In fact, some of what CCP has said implies there will be no future patches at all. No new content. They hint at this, but lack the balls to tell us to our faces that our game is dead. They don't understand that there is no "best" way to phrase the news, because it ******* sucks no matter how it's phrased or parsed.
IWS, I already hate you with a passion, but seriously, can't you see the agony of the community? Censoring the hate doesn't make it go away. And neither do empty promises. Your little comment is so politically neutral, I can only believe that the game is dead. There is no hope or excitement in your remark, only clinical factuality of the bare minimum substance. "The nature of going forward", what the **** does that even mean? Is our current method of advancing and improving the game not good enough? Why is the nature changing? It wouldn't be phrased that way or even discussed if it wasn't, so don't try to weasel out of that one.
Just stop all this now. Be clear, and let all the hate, pain, and despair just die.

Are you kidding me, how on earth is this racist???? Did he EVER at one single time say an ethnicity of the group?? No he did not. So the people who copied Day Z and made the game War Z, guess what that development studio is awful, but but I am now racist because of it......... No the development team of Dust is just plain bad. Race, color, language, all of that stuff has nothing to do with what he said. Most people would agree the development team is not good. I still remember getting a patch and guess what my heavy suit was acting like Velcro and getting stuck on everything. The NUMEROUS times that the info on skills and other items was just not correct and some of this led to people having negative SP.
Other reasons why people think CCP should of gotten another dev team, the fact that these maps are large but not dense but run just awful, when games like bf3 can have big maps and run smoothly. The fact that you guys do not seem to get the concept of small tweaks on weapons instead it is always outlandish buffs or nerfs. There are so many things that points to having a dev team that is very bad at codding compared to other studios.
It disappoints me that people have to bring up the damn race card when someone makes a statement that hurts, but has nothing to do with race. As an example of it going on here in the US, there are a few people that say you're racist if you do not agree with the presidents actions. That is not being racist, being racist is when you bash the race of someone for being that race, not bashing a bad codding dev team that is in a different country.
I do thank you Saberwing for talking to the community, but in my opinion you are taking his statement 100% incorrectly. |

I don't remember promising anything and if I set expectations around it would been that high of a bar; I made my suggestion and logistics wasn't there to get it out in time so the fallback of the booster was used since it was something everyone can use. There was other options but only a smaller portion of players would have been able to enjoy it. It gets really hard to suggest things that everyone can enjoy these days easily without over empowering or throwing away items to lose more value. I am sure the lot of you are tired of quafe suits and black eagles.

The problem wasn't the item.
The problem was that he said, that you said people should get excited... IDK. Getting excited over a 3 day Omega booster...
Should just tell people "we have a little something to give", that's it. No "big news" or "exciting stuff" or "a big surprise" because let's face it, DUST has got none of those things in a long time. Since Uprising 1.0 to be exact. So that's my 2 cents.
