Is it going to be like EVE online, a pay to play game if so your not gonna get many players, best stick with PS3 and work with what you got, you can make it better........unless your just doing it for the money and not for the entertainment for the people. If so you just lost a player. |

The only thing I got from this was that the more the developers eff with this game, the more they eff it up and make it less enjoyable to play.
First there was Tank Spam 1.7, then there was Tank Spam Continued 1.8 and each "update" made me less and less interested in playing your game and, this should be more important to you, much less interested in spending my real world cash to buy your in game cash to play your increasingly crappy game.
Keep it up. You'll kill this thing off eventually.
BTW... That real world cash I mentioned? The devs who made Battlefield 4 and Killzone and Call of Duty... They're the ones who are getting it now because, unlike what you've done to continuously ruin what should be an amazing game, they've managed to keep their games fun to play.

They have already said they are going to let us move over our SP and some equipment pending if that equipment is going to be in that game or not. |

I want to stay the path of DUST until Legion emerges...I want to move to PC when that happens. I fear that DUST will not weather the time this move happens. I fear DUST will die sooner than later as I watch the attrition rate of players... In my perception the attrition rate is at an all time high. I tried the Destiny Beta (think borderlands meets halo...another child's game with no strategy, no coms, everyone running around just shooting up **** with no real team play...awesome graphics.) last night and the whole time I wished to be playing DUST with my Corp Brothers & Sisters. There really is no other game that gives me such a sense of satisfaction after playing...camaraderie, strategy, teamwork, etc... A sense of being part of building something really cool (My character, Our Corp & the game itself). Chat channels are becoming more vacant. Recruiting is difficult due to negative banter & bitching openly (myself included) about DUST's impending death.... I FEEL FRUSTRATED WITH YOU!!!! Still dedicated.... (for now) |

Kind of funny that a company like yours that has a successful game would even think about stealing and lying to a very dedicated community. I have a question for you guys at head office in ICELAND.
What if I came to your country and offered this great product for free and told you that the product is not finished yet. BUT we have alot of work to do on it but bare with us.
SUPPORT US.
HELP US.
Because we can give you all of this if you do.
Then I tell you that the product is not worth it anymore and we have to give up the idea but we are going to be bringing out a new idea for something else. I think you catch my drift. NOT at all a respectful. You have ruined your reputation within the PS community and SONY for sure will never let you in after this. And of course you can tell yourselves that you got away with this one but in truth, you have stolen, lied and cheated your way to making a game for yourselves. Looks good on you.

Somebody pissed in this kids cheerios.....
They haven't given up on the idea, they are currently tweaking the game(I don't really care for most of the tweaks, but they are doing something)
The AUR that has been(and is continuing to be) purchased, is still viable as a currency.
Your just butthurt because they said they aren't going to be adding new content any time soon, but why roll out new content when they have so much that needs to be adjusted. All that does is create more of a work load on themselves.

It's a good thing that CCP understands that it is a business and not a tea party on a pink cloud in Fairy Land.
I spent lots of real life cash based upon the history of CCP and the long term development of Eve.
F2P isn't actually a business model, they depend on people using real life currency on something called micro transactions. The F2P part is based on the acquisition of the game. Outside of North Korea and some petro-states businesses receive money for providing services/goods, you should google Capitalism.
If they don't transfer the SP to Legion things would get ugly. You'd have to be a naive, ignorant child to even remotely feel Legion should ignore the time and money spent by Dust players.

As a long time player of this game I am going to go on record again stating bluntly that if meaningful persistent assets are not transferred from Dust to Legion it would be a grave disservice to the community and the health of both games going forward. First and foremost on that list is SP. SP transferred from Dust to Legion should hold equal weight and buying power.

I do have to ask this question to the PS3 community cause I am still baffled by this.
Why are we still supporting CCP in their endeavour in Legion?
Truely. Seriously. If they really wanted to put a game on the PSN, they would have. This bullshite of the PS3 is limited and they are having a hard time programming. Give me a f__ing break.
How many of us are so tired of gaming companies coming out with a game and they promise the world and they scrap it or say that we are going to work on it for a couple of months and see where it goes.

I would really like to know where all this rage comes from. If somebody, ANYBODY actually read what kind of game Project Legion is going to be you should very fast understand that it is nothing alike Dust 514! Project Legion is going to work with wide open landscapes, persistent worlds you can visit anytime and meet other mercs you did not expect, loads of exploration and so on. Dust is a MMOFPS with great customization in the character but all in all small battlegrounds with loads of "IN YOUR FAAAAAACE!"-moments. I can easily imagine both games having their places in the Eve Universe. Project Legion as the big game where you fight giant battles, explore planets and prepare for planetary invasion and Dust 514 as the slightly smaller game where you board ships and stations, rescure hostages, assault remote industrial complexes and so on. Also: I guess that the PS3 kinda limits what you can do with your game. You simply cannot create a game that is remotely alike to Eve online on the PS3, so they made Dust 514. Lets be honest, it is nothing alike Eve. Project Legion on the other hand aims to be an Eve online-shooter on the surface of the planets as far as I understand it.
So just stop the rage already! CCP already learnt the hard way that they have to listen to their playerbase with the whole "Walking on Stations"-story (I think I'm one of the few people who was actually hyped by all the things they could've done with that, but I guess the purists are the most influencial group of Eve online). |

So... you mean how Dust 514 should been in the first place ? That is what CCP wanted, but MMO's simply don't work in Consoles...They could listened to the people screaming at them instead of wasting YEARS trying to achieve the impossible. But...still... better late than never. I actually very excited about this, i always seen the "potential" of this game.... but never the actual product. |

Also, CCP said that if Legion gets greenlighted (or has it already been, I've been away for quite a while) they might consider porting it over to PS4, which a few F2P games (War Thunder, War Frame, Blacklight: Retribution) have already done. Personally I don't have a PC or Mac that would be capable of running EVE: Legion, unless it happens to be extremely well optimized. No matter how all this plays out, I look forward to the promise that CCP made with Dust, whether they rename and/or port it or not, so long as something so amazing doesn't simply become vapor-ware. |

All the spoiled entitled fussing on those first few pages. Good riddance CCP. Most of this remaining ps3 playerbase is too stupid to know that the ps3 can simply go no further in delivering the game that they want.

They can either be cheap (not purchase a PC) and stupid (expect Dust to be ps3 only), or they can get their asses together and quit living in the past.
CCP has a better, more dedicated, PAYING playerbase, that has stuck with them through thick and thin. The PC playerbase.
PC Playerbase = The loving wife that CCP cheated on. PS3 Playerbase = The skanky mistress that foolishly thinks she is wife material.
How do you have an illicit affair against someone you had an illicit affair with? Is an adulteress entitled to anymore respect than a *****? lol
Stop being cheap and invest in yourself with a good PC. Or move on to PS4, and maybe Legion will go there one day.

I'm hoping that Legion goes on PS4 at some point, I was really glad when War Thunder did so (my computer is so slow that I literally was unable to fly in a straight line). They can go and put it on PC first, and I'll be able to deal with it and wait, either until I get a good PC or they offer it on PS4 (whichever comes first).
