We forum goers may be the more active and dedicated portion of the community....but we are not necessarily the biggest....... if we want to take it further issues like this should be presented and explain to players on their consoles through the notice board or highlights when the game is started, not just on the forums.
Which is why everyone here should encourage CCP to post the known bugs in the login screen next time.

There was no warning for the average player, who does NOT visit the forums likely, before spending all their SP. No emails, not pop ups upon sign on, nothing nada zip. Gives a big big clue as to how they view us as customers. They think we are stupid and will just give in and go along with what they say. To a degree some will because they are either stupid or CCP suck ups. The rest will just deal with the bad taste in their mouths by not purchasing any AUR or funding the developers further. If the devs can live with a reduced cash flow by all means keep the decision and be anti-consumer. Everything you said is completely wrong. It wasn't a "business decision" for starters. The only people who didn't have any warning were players that had never put any SP into racial suits before and had no idea that it was supposed to be an 8x skill. There is zero excuse for anyone else to not have noticed it required half as much SP as every other racial suit in the game has cost the since racial suits were first introduced. Not once has that value ever changed. They don't think you are stupid. In fact this whole mess started because they thought you were smart enough to be able to figure out something was wrong before dumping your SP into it. In retrospect that was a mistake. Everything else you said is just plain nonsense.
Yeah, it was a mistake for CCP to assume most console players were smart enough to think before they act.

But you have been around here long enough to know that CCP sucks. So if you haven't learned to be very careful by now, why should people be sympathetic? but for something like a sp multiplier on just 1 suit out of all the basic and racial suits to choose from.

Come on now. Its not that hard to take five minutes of your time to look up the list of known bugs on the first day of every patch. You don't even have to do that everyday. You'll just need to look it up once every three months now when the patch comes.
15 minutes can save you 15% or more on car insurance.

Altina McAlterson wrote: It wasn't a "business decision" for starters.
So you have inside information on CCP's business? Are you a developer? Yes? Which one? Care to disclose why people were not notified in advance? No? GTFO!

Where were people warned? Was it in game? Did a mass communication go out to all players that was readably available? Only a small percentage of people actually visit the forums. Since when is it our fault that CCP can't code themselves out of a cardboard box? Is it our job to QA their supposedly finished product?
Altina McAlterson wrote: They don't think you are stupid. In fact this whole mess started because they thought you were smart enough to be able to figure out something was wrong before dumping your SP into it. In retrospect that was a mistake.
And I thought CCP was smart enough to code properly and had QA that filtered out bugs like this, but in retrospect that was a mistake.

Now Xander, you have been around long enough to know better than spend your SP without doing your research.
You should know better then to spend it without checking the fourms on possible bugs... and should also have the common sense to wait atleast a day until after a big patch to spend a large amount of skill points on somthing you arn't 100% sure you will use.
I say this with love brotha, don't dig yourself a deeper hole. Accept your choices, don't play the victim card.
