They could be working on racial parity for vehicles, racial parity for outposts and accompanying socket set (with Caldari and probably Minmatar already complete), PVE against Rogue Drones, new modes, player market integration will possible merc movement around New Eden.
Just releasing racial parity of outposts and sockets would be enough for a full expansion but I'm hoping for PVE.

Tanks, Tanks as far as the eye can see. giving us points for damage is not going to make me want to use AV more, and to top it off you take away a grenade. you can barely kill an lav with 3 of them so i'd love to know who put that idea in because its silly, i dont think i seen a post concerning grenade spam and you reduce the amount? just why? |

No point introducing new game modes and mechanics and stuff of the sort if the game still plays horrible. I love this game but the lag, getting caught on terrain that isnt there and not being able to jump a curb is really getting annoying. |

Regarding the Caldari Production Facility, I'm a firm believer that "withheld due to performance issues" actually means "withheld to create excitement in future update." I don't want to believe that CCP's developers are THAT bad at optimizing, would much rather belief it is some arbitrary marketing tactic.
Also something else that may possibly be arriving in the FanFest expansion is Conquest gamemode, where it strings together multiple maps on the same terrain (as many know, many of our maps are right next to each other in the redlines) to create a multistage battle similar to Battlefield's Rush gamemode.

The only time I see lag is in the basement of Gallente Research and it's barely noticeable anymore. I don't bother with PC but FW and pub matches are totally fine. I haven't been caught on terrain since 1.7 shipped. If you want to jump a curb then stop stacking plates. Even my Minmatar Logistics can hop over fences.
For the game to thrive it needs both content and fixes and they seem to be doing that. If they only shipped fixes the players would wander off from boredom to play some other buggy game that has something new to look at.

I don't even think AV vs Vehicle needs that much work. I think it's more about limiting the amount of vehicles in pubs. I don't think vehicles are that OP in PC.

CCP Shanghai has been a mess, is still a mess and this anemic list of 'improvements' after 4 months of nothing demonstrates that CCP is not understanding what this game needs: progress and clarity
What rumors? What crew? What direction? CCP rouge has yet to say three words publically to this forum. As far as anyone outside of the CPM and CCP payroll are concerned he is a non-entity and dust continues to wallow in mediocrity.

Well spotted.
If you'll remember this is one of the few things that CCP Rouge commented on shortly after his introduction. I'll try to dig up the post.
If I remember was essentially an acknowledgement that the combat potential of vehicles wass greatly increased in relation to the infantry ability to counter and he liked the idea of rewarding you for keeping vehicles at bay but not necessarily being able to kill them.

Played 10 games straight this weekend nothing like that happened. So it might be a heisenbug, which isn't that easy to find and fix. These things are even harder to debug as you can't really write unit/functional tests for them. |

We'll see. I've actually been more hopefully about the future of this game lately and I think that all will be revealed at Fanfest. If they fail to deliver there then I agree the game will continue to wallow in its current state. A new EP can't turn the boat and deliver over night and signs point towards Fanfest as being the reveal.

Yeah, most of the AV experience in 1.7 is an issue because it feels unrewarding. Damage WP will greatly help with that. Now they just need to do something about the militia swarmer blueprint. It's the most misleading fit for new players. Replace that thing with a heavy with an FG. Those can actually get through tanks, even at militia level, in contrast to swarmers. Militia swarmers literally do no damage against vehicles. For some racial flavor, you could give Minmatar an RE speed build instead. Seriously, try it. The tank can just stand there and take an endless amount of hits. |

Well, Reav, then let me have some of what you're drinking because I desperately need a change in attitude. And, yes, I am looking for an alternate game or two on the ps3 to get a break from dust. So tired of being loyally commited to this project but feeling let down by the development (the lack thereof honestly) over the past year.
I vacillate as much as the next addicted clone. We all rale at CCP about our love for the potential of this game but the reality keeps kicking me in the face.
I am trying not to sound like one more mewling whining poster amongst the 'masses' (all 34 of us). Perhaps the thing I have routinely asked for the most is not deliverable the way I believe it to be: communication.
I have advocated consistently for CCP to be more open, honest and forthcoming with information about development. Without result.
Maybe I am setting my expectations too high.
Maybe I need a break from CCP. Meh...frustrating-ass game company |

CCP, this is page 5 of this thread, and let me be the first person to actually say you did a good job.
3 new sentinels, 3 new basic heavy frames, 3 new commandos, 2 new scouts, and 2 new basic light frames. A total of 13 new dropsuits in one patch. Very nice indeed.
3 new weapons.
New equipment.
Bonuses that actually suit the class they are attached to.
Massive AV buff. (Anyone that says else wise is just looking for something to complain about.)
PC farming fixes.
Factional Warfare improvements.
No more ridiculous scans.
Reduced grenade spam.
Mass drivers and laser rifles will make a comeback, increasing diversity on the field.
TTK increase.
I swear this community is the biggest bunch of whiners I've ever seen in my life.
