Its unlike you to make this statement without a link. That said I don't remember any CCP dev saying anything about nerfing damage or damage Mods(other than exact weapons)(ner or buff) but you are very reliable for this sort of thing so if you could post that link(any) would be awsome!

Too bad the RR is getting nerfed. It's my favorite weapon. I think they are supposed to be increasing the rate of fire though. I wonder what the damage will be.

What amazes me about the performance of the RR is that it's more accurate when hip firing than ADS,so according to all of the "RR's are OP" whiners,the solution is to automatically nerf the damage.
The most logical and easiest fix is the make the gun spray like a mf'er when hip firing,and make it accurate when ADS,that way,anyone that's using it in CQC and wrecking face with it,then you can't say that the gun is OP,but that player has skill.
I hope with this nerf that it also means that SCRs get hit too,because I'm sick of getting three-shotted,and if they nerf my scrambler pistols,I'm outta here. |

When hip firing,it should have accuracy greatly reduced in relation to when ADS.The only stats the gun has for accuracy is Accuracy Rating,in which the SB=39 is a 58.28.I really don't know what makes up that rating,but basically they should flip the hip fire and ADS accuracy,but add just a bit more recoil and dispersion to the hipfire when spraying and praying.Maybe have it kick in after 5~7 rounds instead of 12~15 rounds. |

It's well overdue,especially if you are running Caldari suits. Those things can three-shot just about any Caldari suit,and I'm sorry,but the charged shot is pretty ridiculous too.Which also makes me wonder,how come the scrambler pistols don't have a charged shot? Same Amarrian tech right?

Mr. Kirby I'm not sure how to break this news to you...
They're going to screw it up. Every single nerf in this game is defined by how much it went too far. The greatest nerfing-compliment from Uprising 1.7 was they guy who said, "at least they didn't nerf them (Forge Guns) into the ground." CCP has no interest in rebalancing, it's nerf or nothing. This truth has been consistent for Dust 514's entire history and nothing short a miracle of God is going to change that for Uprising 1.8.
You would be best to be prepared for it to be done in a bad way. That way if their mistake is minimized you've effectively won.

Speaking of nerfed weapons, I tried doing a little AV today (lolwhydidibother) and swarms are still worthless. The range is laughable while the damage is nonexistent because of loltriplehardeners.
CCP is like the opposite of Sour Patch Kids towards Caldari weapons.
