Really stupid seeing as how the damage mods nerf would do the job anyways and everyones gonna be using heavies as well.
A simple big increase to the hipfire disperion would've did the job too.
(low damage output of all weapons means heavies will be unstoppable, other than by cloak scout shotties.)
Oh well, everyone knew it was coming and we've long since given up on CCPs ability to balance.
Everyone has been saying for the longest time to just nerf the hip fire spread, just increase hipfire dispersion. Idk why they are nerfing damage.
for the record Scr 1-2 shot minmatar medium frames without a charge shot. I dnt give a **** about overheat. with proficiency 3 it does 100+ to armor per non-charged shot. thats fine?
also, the galente AR has no down sides. it has no recoil, second highest ammo per magazine, is fully automatic and has the second lowest damage fall off. no dispersion. what are the down sides?
CR has the highest recoil, the lowest ammo, second lowest range, highest damage fall off, highest dispersion among all the ARs, is burst fire (you miss a burst you lose massive amounts of ammo and DPS so your punished more for inaccuracy). This the only functioning minmatar weapon in the game.
