We never had 9k players though that was an api error. Similar to PS2 having 2 million in a spike.

The 9000 players was from Uprising launch weekend. The player counts have been pretty much the same since chromosome. |

Your average High is around 2600-2800 Players which to be honest is fairly poor for a FREE TO PLAY Online game on the PS3, especially considering the amount of PS3s on the market. I personally have the PS4 and BF4, it's a GREAT CONSOLE, I can FINALLY Call Battlefield 4 a BATTLEFIELD game on console , especially considering that on the PS4 it runs at 60fps 900p (whereas the XBone can ONLY HANDLE 720p and yes there is a DRAMATIC Difference)and with 64 PLAYERS, Now IMAGINE - What if DUST 514 were to come to the PS4.
I'm sure we could have 64 players on the PS4 version of DUST 514 and even make it Cross Playstation with the PS3, Why do I think this? Cause we already have DC Universe on the PS4 and it ports your characters directly from the PS3 to the PS4 so you don't have to start all over again from scratch (Futhermore this is also being done with PLANETSIDE 2 on the PS4 - U can port over your character from PC to the PS4), which is another GREAT idea if cross platform isn't possible for CCP, as in PS3 and PS4 together.
It would be not only nice BUT GREAT to see DUST 514 on the PS4 and have 64 or even 128 Players and being capable of playing smaller player based game modes alongside PS3 DUST 514 players (PS4 and PS3 play together as 32 players which the PS3 appears to support fine), just think of the success rate of doing such a thing CCP! MAG got into the Guiness Book of Records for the Amount of players and DUST would for a decent Cross Platform if CCP are capable of doing it, which to be honest i have serious doubts due to the constant "SooN TM".
U need Adverts on TV and the Net like U did with EVE and seriously consider a PS4 move, as in consider making it on the PS4 with a Cross gaming from PS3 to PS4.
NB CCP EVERY1 I know with a PS4 downloaded EVERY FREE TO PLAY and PS+ Game there was on the PS4 Store. Which means even DUST is bound to have more players just by making it happen on the PS4. Then again I hear you're LAZER FOCUSED... Get real man seriously... |
