On the left side, I see "Unholy Legion of Darkstar," a corp that Pyrex's main happens to be a member of. So we have three Darkstar stompers in good gear, and one darkstar stomper in a tank, who were undoutbedly communicating with each other using mics. On the right, I see no names in common. A pure, unorganized pub group.

Soooo wait...the squad filled with experienced players using good equipment stomped a mud hole into the unorganized lambs waiting to be sheared? And the experienced players protected their tank? And any tank that gets protected by its team can get kills?

Actually it's 6800 health, 2 hardeners, one pg extender, and a rep with a stage three turret. Very, very, very standard build that gets crushed in no time by good players. And what do you mean by "Getting hit by swarms and a FG like it was nothing"? He had to vamoose every time. He didn't sit and tank it, he retreated and left it to his teammates. This is smart playing. Nerf teamwork.
Well we all saw him, he was playing smart. So...you guys should learn to use that ''teamwork'' to tank instead of keep asking for nerfs in AV and buffs in tanks. so you can solo a whole enemy tank......

Anyway, He was squad-ing with his corp against some really bad pub players, and he was still taking a hammering. Imagine if those guys had been good? Nerf teamwork.
I DIDNT SEE ANY HAMMERING. He didnt die once, so i dont know what is this HAMMERING you are talking about. Hammering is dying 20 times in a game. THATS HAMMERING, of course, i dont think ANY tanker knows what that feels.

I find it amazing that tank players can watch this video and see a guy barely surviving but doing so thanks to the efforts of his team, but AV players can watch it and somehow see Godzilla rampaging through Tokyo. That is too funny.
You know whats also funny? Seeing a tanker that does well because hes playing with his ''TEAM'' and having teamwork. And tankers insead of realizing hes doing good an thanks to his TEAM he doesnt die, INSTEAD of organising stuff with your corps to PLAY like taht you just want buffs and nerfs to benefit your solo tanking.

You're using a double standard, Checkmate. He used teamwork and excelled because of it, but you're still complaining because the tank didn't get blown up.

At 10:38, he gets dropped from 6,000 health to 2,300 in about three seconds. He ran away. Hammered.

At 2:37, his friend's tank gets dropped from 6,700 health to 3,800 in two hits, and runs away. Hammered.

At 5:40, he gets dropped from 6,500 health to 2,700 and had to run away. Hammered.

Yeeeah.

I run starter infantry in ambush in order to fund my tanks for skirmish, Checkmate. I die all the time. Hell, I even ran into Void Echo a few times. He runs infantry and dies too. Tanking is something you do because you like doing it. It's not profitable or sustainable. Every good game as a tanker is built on a lot of frustrating losses, and boring grinding.

1-I've never said TANKS ARE OP. I say they are good. Contrary to TANKERS SAYING THEY ARE UP.Im against NERFING AV WEAPONRY, tahts about it and what really triggers my posting.I use my tales of times i cant kill a tanks as proof that good tankers can and DO survive in the battlefield. OF COURSE I CAN KILL TANKS WITH MY PROTO AV WEAPORY.If im on a roof and i have full vision of the map,my ISHIKUNE FG will rip any tank appart if he doesnt hide on time. Same with the Proto Swarms and Grenades,if i have the advantage to be able to shoot the tanks without being seen....ADD ON: Im not EVEN AGAINST Buffing tanks, if with this we get a reduction in numers deplyed per battle. (Say 1-2 tanks MAX ,considering the low player count available per game)I've even posted several times tanks and their modules + turrets SHOULD be cheaper,in an ATTEMPT TO ENCOURAGE TANKING.

Bring in consideration being infantry YOU WILL DIE, doesnt matter how good you get to be,because there is always a random grenade, an enemy ambush, a tank that owns you when you dont have your AV, Charged sniper rifle etc....So i do between 5-8 deaths per game. This is between 1700000 ISK and 2720000 ISK Every 4 games. I've seen TANKERs taht dont die in 4 games.I havnt seen anyone BUT a sniper in 1.4 that can go 4 games in a row without dying once. Lets say you loose a 3 million isk tank every 4 games. Thats only 280000 more ISK, at the advantage of a much better K-D ratio and field presence....
If you loose 1 3mil tank every game,you are doing it wrong.

did you even bother looking on the enemy team he was fighting against? there was NO ORGANIZATION, NO INTELLIGENCE AND NO DEDICATED AV ON THEIR SIDE, all the seem to have was standard AV.

you expect people intelligence and knowledge with what they do and with higher level modules to be soloed by some random red that is too lazy to fully skill into AV like they should that is too ******* stupid to use teamwork like they demand for us?

4th/Yes i see the randoms trying to win an already finished match, but when you tankers get killed by AV weaponry, you also dont see the ifantry behind you throwing packed AV nades, the FGunner sniping you from a roof?.. NO , you only saw 2 swarms coming your way and came in to QQ how a Proto SL totally wrecks your tank.
5th/I have fully skilled Proto AV. I even have proficiency.Im an above avarege player and even with some help sometimes is impossible to drop a tank. So no, i dont want some random scrub with MLT swarms to drop a tank. I want tankers to start realizing , THEY ARE NOT BEING SOLOED. they are being hunt down by different AV players at the time ....

I think I was in the opposing team on that vid, we got raped because what you don't see is that they had two MORE tanks on the field.
Half my team seemed to be afk'ing and I was the only one who even seemed to have av nades (those packed av nades) and my one squad mate only had a militia sl.
The reason they dominated that match was because my team SUCKED, if I had squaded up with my regular corp members before the match I bet things would have gone differently. Instead I went 9-14 and was first on the damn list, it felt like I'd randomly been lumped with a bunch of noobs for that one game. Has anyone else recently experienced this kind of godawful matchmaking lately? My norm for soloing is 1st or second place with 15-2, that night I got about four games in the row of nothing but this kind of bs
