Your almost Correct. Other squads can spawn in on your Militia Drop uplinks.

However, something seems to be glitching for me, the other day i could not highlight even my own uplinks on the map, and sometimes they colour changed (traitors!) Posted it in the bugs thread but no responses. I run scout,and infiltrate with the intent of getting the team access to objectives and solid positions, the role works well, when the uplinks work Ugh

I have had several exchanges on the forums about who uses the uplinks (team/squad) and that there has been some sort of change going on with them. I hve searched google and the forums and have literally found dozens of threads and hndreds of opinions but not one factual statement from CCP. Can you guys please clear this up with everybody because many need to know. I have proto uplinks for a reason and if you guys just went and made them squad only with out putting it in the patch notes or letting anyone know that would be pretty rude i think...just saying. So Please Clarification on... 1. Who can use the uplinks that are deployed by me? team/ squad/ other squad or solo players? 2. Are there variations that do differt members of the team? 3. HaS CCP switched how the uplinks work recently...if so...when...and why didnt you tell us? 4. Is this problem with uplinks simply related to the inability to get my whole squad together in a battle together and "scotty is confused? 5. I have been testing this out and squad jumping to see what is lit and trying to figure this one out. If i jump out of my squad and lay uplinks do i continue getting the 25 points for the uplinks outside of squad? 6. Why is it called team spawn if its for your squad ? honestly this also works badley because simply getting the "team" chat to load to switch back to your squad takes almost 20 seconds sometimes which makes that idea bunk too.... Please CCP something officiall. I promise never to rant and rave again about the battle finder if you give me a good clear answer... Thank you in advance Skippy678

If you drop uplinks not in a squad, then ANYONE can use them. If you've ever been in a squad and you see an uplink, it's someone else's uplink on your team. _____________________ I also know that there are glitches sometimes that show you an uplink on the map, but won't let you choose it as a spawn point. There are also glitches where you can spawn on uplinks you normally wouldn't be able to spawn on. However, this doesn't happen frequently, but it is a possibility. but seriously, none of the uplink descriptions say they are squad locked even though they are. The hacked uplinks might be confusing because they say "usable by anyone", but that just means anyone can fit them on their suit, not that anyone can spawn on them. I can't say for certainty about them being one way or the other though

Seems like the only people that can spawn on your uplinks outside of your squad is the squadless. Makes a whole lot of sense there. I've first noticed this in PC when the only uplinks that worked for the whole were the imperials.

This is what i know to be TRUE: The droplinks i used were (Std, r-9, and stable) -While not in a squad, Others can use my drop links. -While not in a squad I can use other peoples drop uplinks. -I do not have to see other peoples uplinks first to spawn on them. -While in a squad, My squad and Others can use my uplinks -While in a squad, I can use Other peoples Uplinks. -While in a squad, I can use Other squads uplinks. (only 99% sure on this, Unless those 3 non-squaded blue berrys are droppiing 10+ uplinks in my test matches) I use the word "other" because im getting points from them. I also did the testing in full squads, as well as solo squads to rule out any WP coming from my own. They are for sure coming from blue berry's. There could be some inconsistancys with the other uplinks, militia, hacked, ect . I could also camp on one of my droplinks and watch the person spawn in, and see if they are in a squad or not. to verify that. as far as i can tell nothing has changed. But i will log on and verify some of that stuff.

I have seen my droplinks go missing when i know the enemy did not find it. Ill keep testing other varients, Im leaning towards they are team wide, and there could be some sort of bug that happening. what uplinks do you use?

You have prototype droplinks so you can answer the question for yourself pretty easily. put your self in a squad. lock it. so you know it isnt your buddy spawning in. join a match, put down your uplinks. collect +25's ???? It used to be squad only, If PC is different, then yes a dev would probably have to make that a bit more clear. I would finish verifiing the other uplinks, But its pretty boring dropping them down and waiting for somebody to poop out, and check if they are in a squad or not. Good luck.

Turned out they were destroyed and it was just lag. Destroyed by an enemy or glitch I don't know. But if spawn in else where and check your map really fast they will be gone. Might just be server lag.

Well mine work under the following conditions %100: In locked solo squad. Ambush public contract. Several other berries + a squad lead spawned on it.
