Your almost Correct. Other squads can spawn in on your Militia Drop uplinks.

I have been known to regularly have 3,000+ WP matches without so much as firing a single shot because the amount of spawns my uplinks would produce was incredible. That has fallen off significantly since 1.4. Furthermore, tests also show that something has changed. Simply switch squads throughout the game during a pub match and you'll notice how the locations of all the active uplinks changes as you go back and forth between the squads. Something is up, guys. Trust me.

from what you and skippy have said. Switching squads, does that have something to do with it?
I tried to test that as well, but It wouldnt let me. "you cannot Join a Squad allready deployed in battle"

Maybe your WP's are down because Uplinks are much harder to find now and don't need to be spammed. So they have there own to spawn in on still.

I honestly think its a glitch that is related to the squads nt getting in together and the system is confused as to who is in wich squad or team....and its leaking back to the uplinks..also with the team chat sticking could be something

Very weird indeed, Shouldn't make a difference, because if you are running solo or in a squad, anybody can spawn on them. (verified , -Source. ME! wasted all damn morning watching blues poop out of my uplinks and recording the data )

I made a thread a long time ago that was talking about this exact issues. CCP ignored me as well.

Seems like the only people that can spawn on your uplinks outside of your squad is the squadless. Makes a whole lot of sense there.

I've first noticed this in PC when the only uplinks that worked for the whole were the imperials.

I hope they do answer your questions, but here it is almost 2 months later and I am still waiting to find out what the correct time for my cal logi suits shield recharge delay rate should be - is the delay supposed to be 5 or 6 (& what ccp got wrong the number in the patch notes or the dev blog or in game)?

Any given moment your uplinks are going to work or they are not, why not ask ccp too, why some player can deploy their non-proto uplink on top of the one I drop making it un-accessable because no one can actually choose it because they appear to occupy the same location, no matter what you do to the map zoom.

Undocumented changes (intentional ones) aren't cool, it leaves me wondering if CCP is incompetent (writing in notebooks is hard yo) or deceitful (they'll totally never notice these little game breaking tweaks) either way its not really acceptable interaction between a small player base and a company that claims to care about player input.

Good because the current system is horrible.

There was some (typically weak) documentation regarding a few uplinks being squad specific but not All Of Them! Hopefully this is another typical glitch from CCP/Shanghai and not the intended purpose.

What this does is make people Not squad up, then they allow more players to use the uplinks.
