961. Anyone else have trouble getting rid of their Officer gear - in General Discussions [original thread]
Burned through all my officer stuff I had skillpoints for, right when I received them. Damn SI guys blasting orbitals on me when they saw me fielding shinys :)

963. request: little or no xp headstart, i.e. reset before launch - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
Dust has a competitive allure to it, don't ruin it by a meaningful headstart. There is no need for not resetting, but there is an arguable point to resetting.

964. Controller or keyboard and mouse - in General Discussions [original thread]
Tips: 1) kb-m works. Ps3 has a dcpi cap of 2000, so a mouse that supports such or close natively is sweet. Razer at 1800dcpi feels good for me, while MS sidewinder is bad (can drag all the way over mat without response, when dragged slowly). 2) th...

966. AV vs Vehicles in the New Patch - in General Discussions [original thread]
Let's take an analogy from eve. A newbie rushes battleship and gets killed by the newbie that focused frigate for the couple of months. A frigate tries to take on a veteran battleship and dies or resolves in a getaway. Working as intended.

968. Questions Answered by CCP. A MUST READ! - in General Discussions [original thread]
The release would tank horribly, if millions-sp vets were there to greet newcomers in militia gear. Even given eve learning curve, I won't expect ccp to not reset week before launch or later.

969. CCP's New SP Cap... - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
Disliking this. The weekly cap was good. A "rested XP" system, that would accumulate cap when you don't play to an extent of some million XP would be best. Reward players for playing, not for doing a daily grind.

970. anyone else stand up and snipe? - in General Discussions [original thread]
Often, with my heavy sniper setup. 2-shots good assaults or insta kills with hs, roflstomps scouts and if they get close, scrambler pistol is a damn fine last line of defense. Heavy suit and mobile/mid range sniping is damn good fun :)

971. Snipefest - in General Discussions [original thread]
A good sniping fit with Thales rifle knocks 320 base damage, modded with 3 complex modules and up to 25% more damage from skills. The rifle will cost hefty isk, I'd figure in the 10 mill range. That'll be a juicy orbital strike target :)
