You forgot a few things. Speeders and MTACs are vehicles, and don't exist in the game yet. They also need balancing, and having them in the game will probably require a different dynamic to just LAV/HAV/Dropship/Infantry.

One BIG point to consider when people keep bringing up how Scouts are "only" giving up one slot and a little bit of PG/CPU. We still have some of the worst slot layouts and fitting capacity of any Dropsuits in the game, losing those things costs ...
