1.7 was probably the biggest patch since the release.
Maybe they are taking a little break from all this hard work they put into a free game.
Maybe they are a little tired and just don't want to deal with all these selfish and ignorant attitudes.
JUST maybe they need a break.
So to all of you ignorant people complaining more than a baby... just think about how much work they put into it. And how much work you didn't put into it.

Free game? I have certainly paid for this game and would like to see it continue to grow.
As a paying customer I think it is important to continue to push CCP to fix the issues we have.
Would love to hear a comment that the HMG is going to get a fix. But we can't even get a soon comment about it.

All the changes from CHROMOSOME to UPRISING made by CCP was ignorant, we are just trying to point it out to them, how can you call that selfish?
I already said somewhere else that they should do smart work instead of hard work.

tbh 1.7 released 2 guns and a changed game mode. Game still looks like ass and instead of fixing HAV vs AV they simply killed AV. Was a long wait for not a lot, team grit can suck a **** while am at it. |

Yes, the biggest patch since "release" - when the game still not remotely feature-complete or release-ready. And while it may be free, there are people here who have put money into it for extra content.
Whether CCP are taking a break or not, we know that they DO listen to player feedback. They don't always take all the advice on board that we'd like them to. Sometimes they listen to our reasons then come up with their own solution. And sometimes their solution to the problem causes as many issues as it solves. But that doesn't mean they're not trying.
They spent more than 10 years dealing with these kinds of comments in EVE Online, and they're still going. I'm pretty sure DUST isn't any worse than the EVE fanbase was in the early days - or even now. If they're getting tired of us already, they obviously have the wrong attitude to be bringing to a new project.
Finally, many of us were here as beta testers. We DEFINITELY put work into this game, and are continuing to do so now, while the "released" game is still far from release-ready and is very definitely in an ongoing beta state regardless of the official label saying otherwise.

Yes, you've paid, but that doesn't negate the fact that the game is designed as a free game. You don't HAVE to pay. Spending money SHOULDN'T be used as a bargaining chip in order to prove that your comments are somehow more valid than another player's perspective. We CAN all play for free. Some of us choose not to, because we want some of the extras that money can buy. That's great, but it doesn't mean your opinion (or mine, for that matter) is more important than someone who got their PS3 as a gift, and can't actually afford to buy games for it. |

If this was a free game CCP would not be making it, and neither would anyone else. You may be able to play it free, but a lot of us pay them money. So yeah, terrible argument.
Also I've been talking to some CPM members, specifically Hans, who claims to have warned CCP prior to 1.7 launching that there would be riots about low LP-payouts, but CCP ignored him. Guess what? Launch comes, riots come. I usually never complain about anything right after a release, but since Uprising 1.7 single-handedly destroyed FW by making it nonsustainable, yeah I'm a little ticked.

you act like ccp is running a charity, they aren't its a business and they condust themselves poorly.
customer relations with the dust community are terrible, and with how well the eve side of ccp handles their customers it give the dust side even less excuse to be so poor in this department.

Unfortunately, (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) it appears to be almost an entirely western cultural phenomena. Other parts of the world don't seem to have as a goal to raise the most narcissistic little goblins possible.

I work 8 hours a day, a lot of days I am required to work 10-12 hours a day to finish a large job. Do I take time off after a job is done? No I keep working because that's what I am paid to do. Just because its F2P doesn't mean the devs are not paid to do their job.

If you had a job, you'd understand that it is your customers' responsibility to tell you how to improve your product and insure their future patronage of your product.
Whether or not your customers choose to do it civilly or constructively, is another matter.

In a multiplayer game, players are content. The suggestion that we don't contribute to the game is ridiculous.
If they want us to continue playing the game, they have to build it to a standard of quality.
Or we could follow your advice, give little/no feedback and let the game stall & fail.

This is a good patch, but they haven't exactly done anything for anyone except assult. Two new guns ooooo more power to the Assault class huh? Maybe you shouldn't suck CCP's **** so much cuz it makes you look like a, well, ********** XD
When my scout get's the buff it deserves, I won't complain so much. When Logis actually become a support class rather than an assault class, I'll refrain from complaining. When tanks don't go faster than LAV's, I'll try to stop complaining.
When this game get's the balance it needs, when the glitches and laggy issues we always get is resolved, then we will stop complaining. Otherwise, that would mean we are happy with this crap that is in this game |
