It actually makes sense from an economics perspective to charge more than double for double the SP gain. It gives you an edge over other players so it makes sense to charge a modest premium for that advantage. I just bought a bunch of them.

HD is working fine for me also. There are a few rendering glitches when sniping, but when I'm in assault range I really don't have issues. This sounds like a connection issue/lag to me.
