If war were for real, then would you limit the number of tanks so that the battles were "fair"? No, gamey rules are for Arena style shooters....not warfare simulations. CoD is >>>that way

8. Spotting System is Esoteric - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
I have been in Beta since E3. I have played Eve since 2008. I dont understand how the spotting system works. My intuition would be line of sight to someone spots them, and that shooting your gun, spots you to anyone who is in range to hear it....

12. [Feedback] If we earn rewards by contribution, then rank as that way - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
+1 New players might try out the logistics suit, then see themselves at the bottom of the ranking and decide to say frack it and change to scout or assault. Thats bad. CCP, please make the ranking more reflective of actual contribution, not K/D...

In Eve, the best sub capital ships are T2 Battleships or T3 cruisers....well best is kind of a misnomer in Eve, but you get the idea. The thing is, if people in Eve always fought in the BEST thing they could fit...they would always be broke. So t...
