I'm going to have to agree with Arkena on this idea. Even if this type of equipment can still be destroyed by other means, it would make them more difficult to get rid of and, like Arkena said, would lead to the return of rooftop camping.

CCP considered the "can only be deployed outside a certain radius" idea but can't be possible at this time. As for bandwidth, I have not been on yet so I can't comment on this until I try it out myself.
