281. Bring old aiming back - in General Discussions [original thread]
I already made a different thread, but it's kind of related to this so I'm going to post it here just in case anyone hasn't seen it. Anyway, I made some graphs related to the turning speed and aim acceleration in Uprising. You can find them here: ...

282. [Feedback] Aim Accerleration Study (spreadsheet and graphs included) - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
I'm bumping this again because I now have all the data. There is definitely a little error in there (I assume it's mostly from me an not CCP), but I think it still works so here's generally what I can conclude (added to OP): -Maximum rotation sp...

283. [Feedback] Aim Accerleration Study (spreadsheet and graphs included) - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
From what I've gathered, the smoothing effect takes about 0.8 seconds at sensitivity 0 and about maybe 0.1 seconds at sensitivity 100. I still have to get the sensitivity 50 data, and I'm now very interested to see if it fits between the other two...

284. [Feedback] Aim Accerleration Study (spreadsheet and graphs included) - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
I'm bumping this because I've collected more data. I added the data to for sensitivity 100 to the spreadsheet and graphs. By looking at the second graph (speed vs time), we can see that the peak rotational speed appears to be about the same for a...

285. [Feedback] Aim Accerleration Study (spreadsheet and graphs included) - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
The aiming in Dust has admittedly always been an issue for me and something I've thought a lot about. With Uprising and the recent changes to the aiming, I decided to actually see if I could figure out what was going on and how it has been designe...

286. LF NEW GAME - in General Discussions [original thread]
Anyone who hasn't played FC3: Blood Dragon yet (or even the regular FC3), should do so right now. It's pretty short and easy, but it's also really fun and awesome. Also, I know this isn't really a serious discussion, but Halo 4 is probably the be...

287. AR range and the Mouse vs DS3 debate - in General Discussions [original thread]
I think increasing range for just about everything to SS level 2 or 3 as the baseline would be a good.

288. Tac AR all over again - in General Discussions [original thread]
As someone who sometimes uses it, I'd like to see the TAR do more damage but fire significantly slower.

289. Uprising second impressions. - in General Discussions [original thread]
I'm a little underwhelmed with it to be honest. My biggest gripe is the aiming. It sucked in Chromosome and is still sucks now. It seems like they just decided to throw a bigger sensitivty range at us, and that was not the primary issue. In my op...

291. Great job at misleading.. - in General Discussions [original thread]
I'm not sure what you mean. The shield bonus I think you're talking about is not specific to the Gallente suit, it's a frame bonus, not a racial bonus. The Gallente suits have their own separate racial bonus, and are meant for armor tanking, this ...

Are you talking about the ACOG scope? I think it's only on certain ARs like the TAR.

294. Gall assault armor tanking - in General Discussions [original thread]
I'm curious as to what people think about my potential Gallente assault build: 3 complex shield extenders 3 basic armor plates 1 complex armor rep I like the basic armor plates because overall they'd give me only a 9% movement penalty but more a...

295. Gall assault armor tanking - in General Discussions [original thread]
This is something I've been thinking a lot about recently. Ideally I'd spec into the Gallente suit, but I just can't help but think going Caldari would be the smarter choice. Flux grenades and scramblers worry me though. Most of my time after down...

297. somebody please talk me out of this idea.... - in General Discussions [original thread]
A logi could also use a plasma cannon now instead of swarms. If they're good enough with it, then they could be AV and also hold their own against infantry. I agree though, a having or not having a sidearm can be very significant.

So many similarities between dust and halo. Wait a minute it all makes sense now, halo is dust. Halo takes place around 2550, so the UNSC is just the very early days of the terrans! Hopefully master chief is still around somewhere.
