I can't really speak to the balance of it since I still use the militia suit to save isk, but doesn't the type II sacrifice about 45 armor (105 vs 150)? You do gain a lot of shields in return though.

Just want to point out that there is mic support and they can be used in the pregame lobby. You have to go into the sound settings and turn voice support on. For some reason it's set to off by default. You might also want to turn push to talk off.
