Let's face it iron sights are kind of lame. They can get the job done but they're still lame to use. and not the best at range. Seeing that we have some many variants of each weapon and no way to modify them outside of their basic stats. Why not create a with some different sight options. The Burst and Tactical Assault Rifles have a scope but it's not to effective either. Especially with that single dot reticule. I understand this is the super future but if I was a Dust merc in the EVE universe I would definitely have either found or made my own custom sights for my weapons to give me an edge of my enemies. Even if REFLEX sights were discontinued 500 years ago.
The SMGs have a sight similar to a REFLEX. I would love that on my Assault Rifle or something similar. |

I agree with you for the most part. I think iron sights would be alright if they were scaled correctly, they're too big/wide in my opinion. |

I agree with this ; "they're too big/wide"

Weapon customization is a planned feature, so iron sights will make more sense then.
However, that could be a while. I'd be nice to have some better iron sights in the mean time. Something like the sights on the MP5 or the M1 (a sort of thin ring shape) would be nice. |

The promise of weapon customization doesn't do anything about actually fixing the scaling of the iron sights. |
