If they ever come out with one that has a specialty pilot suit or dropship I'll be all up on. Otherwise it doesn't seem like it'd really benefit me much.

I wonder if people would react differently if they didn't call it the "merc pack"? If they'd said "Here's the soldier pack, it contains the merc pack and three BPO dropsuits, and it costs $20" no one would have batted an eye.

I'd like to see something like that as an infantry deployable piece of equipment. Dropship hovers over an objective, logis hop out, and the first thing they do is lay down a couple of Point Defense Turrets that shoot down incoming swarms.
