Its a command TAR type that does 320 Base Damage at 50 RPM (4s per round) so its one hell of a deadly sniper that requires Sniper Operation 5 and Proficiency III. I could only imagine it is a 1 shot kill with 3 Weapon Damage Complex mods and such.
I can't use it since I'm rolling pure heavy with Forge Guns so this sniper could cost a pretty penny considering I have 10 of them.
That gun was a gift from the gods. Lol if I was you,I would never sell those babies when the time comes that you are able to. It drops heavies faster than a lav driving over you. I will be trading krins assault rifles, gastuns mini guns and my soul for those Thales on release. On topic: I like throwing fused grenades at people coming to my hill. Unless you are a sniper and fire a single shot off to warn of your intentions. If you swap to an sub machine gun during the scout dance I will throw a fused grenade. Fused grenades = snipers best friend don't even get me started No Sleepy Zan,that gun will not get your name. I will get that gun named after me if ccp does something like that. You are a different beast on the american server sleepy! You put 3 rounds past my head before I could even raise my scope. Very scary times and the people on my team were raging hard during that game. Well played! Lol at comparing your self to one of the two best snipers this build.
I've havn't seen a good sniper this build, they all get taken down very quickly. Though i'm sure they will be on the U.S servers. |

my favorite thing to do is come up behind snipers with a forge gun. :) It is satisfying when you line up the shot and send the body flying off the mountain. :) |

I enjoy dropping lead on the heads of snipers. It's fun camping a tower with my DS frag missile turret and putting a missile near them, making them squirm and run. Then, when I'm done playing with them, I drop it right on their head. It's not so fun when they spot me first though, being dropped at the turret sucks. |

I hate those tower campers. I think CCP should disable the Dropship turrets when it's landed...
Anyways, the best way to kill a sniper, is be a sniper and see him first...a shotgun to the head works, too. |

I kill them as fast as possible...gives me more time to kill more.
(Also I have quite a lot of latency, meaning a lot of hit detection issues. As long as they stand still, the probability of a hit is quite high, but as soon as they see me, they tend to hop around and hits don't register very often.) |

If you wanna scare the jibblies out of them, then knife them 1st.
I've made someone leap to their death doing that, I was in fits of laughter for like 10 minutes after that. |

@ Tarn, I bet you like us when we're on your team, clearing snipers, LAV's, HAV's, DS's, turret installations and softening letters for the ground forces. Plus, I'm a sitting 340K ISK duck, waiting for the inevitable sniper/forge shot to kill me. But, if you're the opposite team, I wouldn't like me either. |

There is something about sitting there in the hills, seeing someone trying to sneak up on you, then drop a headshot on them, just as they think they are safe. Or a nade. |

'pew'.. there he is.. aiming away from me... 'pew'.. I stand 15m behind him... I watch his crimson nanohive glow behind him.. keeping him reloaded.. 'pew'.. I spend 15-13sec deciding on his fate.. 'pew'.. I decide on the good old free militia nade.. that'll pyss him off... 'pew'.. the nade land right behind him.. 'boom' his darkened ragdoll body goes up 10m and over the hill to roll to the bottom.. my mission completed, I join my fellow warriors in securing B..... |

Profile Signature affects whether they can see you on the Radar and from how far. (Orange Dots on the minimap, orange chevrons in your field of vision).

Thanks to the current state of the hit detection sniping has never been easier. Moving targets, no problem, no need to lead them anymore just place scope directly over them then pew pew. Sure, the sniper won't be getting as many 1 hit kills but I bet having a sniper buddy and calling out targets will fix that.
p.s. new experimental sniper in militia gear is fun, you have to lead, there is bullet drop, and it fires large railgun shots(really good at scaring away nubs) I would use it more often but its only a three mag militia |

I'm still getting skill at it (mostly learning who not to do it with) movenot cover in front of a camping sniper and scope onto his head and wait. Once the barrel swings onto you, give a half beat to a beat and fire. Adds kind of a 'hello!' moment before they get counter sniped, and in some cases you hear the knee jerked shot wiz by right as you pop a shot off. This gives me a happy feeling inside when it works. |

Ok.. thanks to a team member, another neat lil way to send snipers back to the clone chambers is to drop a flux 'nade on them followed by a up close and personal mass driver action... I know it's a 2 part bytch slap... but fun to watch.. so far I've sent 3 snipies back to the chambers...... |

This is an old quote I dug up, but basically I learned a while ago shortly after this post that the sig bonus from the skill book is working. It's just that the texture/light rendering of the avatar is poorly done and making it too easy for a low-sig scout to be spotted thus making it a moot point to use this skill book. |
