That's probably true, but since encountering other dropships is so rare, and blasters are so ineffectual against ground targets, I would recommend sticking to missiles.

I've finally started getting good with dropships. My gunners, depending on how long we get left alone, get 10 or 20 kills apiece and 0 deaths. I doubt I'll get much hatemail, though, because I'll always be on the bottom of the killboard.

I'd say go with cycled launchers instead of accelerated. Your support gunners don't need the high precision so much as they need rapid fire, I think.

Vehicles will eventually have capacitors. Moving, shooting, and activating modules will all consume it and there will be modules to drain it. Drain a tank's cap and it's stuck in place unable to shoot back.
