502. give scanners a limited amount on charges - in General Discussions [original thread]
There is no longer any "Some Margin of Error" message. This gets bandied about but hasn't been in place since 1.5, as near as I can tell. You only get the "No Margin of Error" message even when someone who is dampened is in your scan range.

TBH, I don't think anyone will notice any change in delays aside from stats on paper.

505. The shield change isn't a big deal. - in General Discussions [original thread]
Shield suits who brick tank will never be as effective as damage/armor tankers when taking into account external rep, since triage support from nanohives/squadmates benefits armor tankers much more than it does dual tankers.

506. The shield change isn't a big deal. - in General Discussions [original thread]
Armor with squad support trumps shields with/without squad support every time. Armor with no support (and no triage hives) is at a slight disadvantage to shields if the engagement is at a distance, and cover is involved. Out in the open or in CQ...

Maybe the November Events page is still there to remind devs to actually PAY OUT OUR REWARDS FOR WINTER CARNAGE. Because I certainly haven't gotten them yet.

510. The end of Dual Tanking? The beginning of Racial Playstyles!(?) - in General Discussions [original thread]
The added delay is so low that it might as well not exist. I am fully expecting stacking penalties to apply to delay (as it does with movement speed from armor plates) making it even lower than the stated 3% each. Dual tankers, carry on.

Gallente Logi and Duvolle Assault Rifle. I don't think the new guns will be as popular as people think, and most will go back to the trusty AR.

Should also add that armor tankers can negate the movement penalty by adding in basic reactive or any ferroscale plate, due to stacking penalty voodoo. If I use a Gallente Logi with 2x enhanced plates and 3x enhanced ferroscale plates, the penalty...

513. Announcement:Uprising 1.7 Patch Notes - in General Discussions [original thread]
So the 3% applies regardless of what tier your shield extender is? And it only applies with each extender after the first one (i.e., a Cal Logi stacking 5x Complex will get a 12% longer depleted shield delay)? I can live with that, assuming CCP do...

A dedicated scout who skills up profile dampening to anything past Lvl 2 is wasting SP. That's all you need plus one miltiia dampener to avoid 28dB scanners, and it's not worth it to avoid 15dB as only the Gal Scout with 4x complex can do it. Tha...

As a logi I will be more than happy to rep your armor. The militia repair tool does 40 HP/sec, and since most of you seem to be using around 500-600 armor, that's 15 seconds until you are fully repped, by someone using a militia tool. With my prot...
