One word for you - "heavy". The heavy dropsuit is, in essence, a walking riot shield. With proper team support, they take the damage while the team dishes out the majority in return.

I just don't understand why people aren't getting out of the grenade's range. Guy killing everyone with thukkers? Use an AR from a distance further than he can throw. Problem solved.

It also determines how long the little wedge stays over your head when someone sees you or after you fire. Lower radius makes it disappear quicker, which is ideal for recon classes.
