Effective weapon but requires a different style of play. Have soloed heavies, AR, LAV, and HAV multiple times just because of their stupidity. Works best though when solo if paired with secondary weapon, as a MD LogiBro, you have to run with squad.

Do not skill into SMG initially... it does not have the range to be effective nor keep you alive in a group. AR or MD are much better and add distance. Laser if you like that sort of thing. SMG can be effective skilled up if you have a higher suit...

For LAV, flux grenade and MD will take them down pretty quick too. HAV, depends on shield lvl... a true shield tank, forget about it, but it does **** them off pretty quick.
