How much penalty would you get for using two complex light damage modifiers (10% each) How does the penalties work. |

it's currently broken, so there's no penalty. Just add up whatever you have. |

That leaves 19% damage boost for two when the bug is fixed. Weaponry lvl 5 adds 10%, needed to get the mods anyway. So one starts at 20% and a reduced second mod means 29%.

Yes, approximately 10% reduction on the module, which means approximately 1% effect on the final value. I consider that negligible. If you think 121% is OP, 119% isn't going to make you feel better. |

- 100%
10 % - 87%
19.6% - 57%
26.4% - 28%
29.9% - 10.5%
31.3% - 3%
31.7%

First of all, separate modules' bonuses are compounded, not added. You've got to think of "percentage bonuses" as multipliers, so a 10% bonus is 1.1 multiplier to the base value.
Example 10% bonus to 100 = 110, or 1.1 * 100 = 110
Currently, the stacking penalty is broken on Damage Mods (although i've seen it in effect on most other modules i've tried). So it is 1.1 * 1.1 * base value, or 1.21 multiplier, or 21% bonus (not 10%+10%=20%)
If the stacking penalty was applied, the second module would only be 87% effective: 1.1 * (1 + (0.1*0.87)) * base value 1.1 * 1.087 * base value or 1.1957 multiplier, or 19.57% compound bonus, which when rounded up is exactly what the eve wiki link says. |

Last I checked, the description for the damage mods didn't say that there was a stacking penalty like some of the other mods do. Are we sure they're supposed to have it? |
