I tried a few Gal Assault and Cal Assault suits after Charlie droped. I went back to my cal/gal scouts in a day. They still have no benefit to my gameplay and the scout (or the heavy) is still the better killer.

If the game isn't fun, don't play it. I have fun every time I log in, regardless if I'm using my free dren suits or my proto suits. Then again, I try to run with a good squad and as a result I win more than I lose and kill more than I die. YMMV.
