assualt rifles are my favourite weapon....have been 4 three years but my bpos are garbage........ my bpos are standard...... if i have a ratio of 1 assualt rifle kill to every thirty basic rail rifle kills i get.... it naturally forces me to use what i do better with.... is it after 3 years ive become worse or did ccp nerf my weapon into poo

This is really interesting to me, because I do quite well with the Plasma Rifle, but can't kill **** with the rail rifle. Like seriously, you guys would tell me to just quite the game if you saw my RR gameplay. |

Agreed, but if you try to engage a RR at the tail end of the AR's effective range, the RR wins most of the time. Closer, the balance of power shifts closer to the AR.
Said a bit differently: I use the RR as my light weapon almost exclusively, and before that it was the AR. These days when using a RR, I die to AR's at short to medium distances. At long distances (say 60+m), they stand no chance, and if I were finding it difficult to kill with an AR, then range is the first place I'd look.
