85. Further evidence of why CCP sucks - in General Discussions [original thread]
Because existing players don't buy boosters. Right. I'll just tell the hundred+ players in my corp who use boosters at all times that their money doesn't exist. That's not even counting the whales in our corp who have spent hundreds of dollars. Th...

86. Further evidence of why CCP sucks - in General Discussions [original thread]
EVE and Dust are part of the same universe. After Fanfest last year I expected this to happen. CCP's vision now is enriching the experience of New Eden, which means new gaming properties that are connected. That means Dust and Valkyrie. They don't...

88. Announcement:An Announcement On The Future Of The World Of Darkness Pro... - in General Discussions [original thread]
In a way I'm kind of glad that CCP is narrowing it's focus on developing New Eden, and given what we heard at last year's fanfest I'm not too surprised. Strategically it's clearly the right thing to do. The goings on of New Eden is what gets CCP p...

89. cloaks are not OP, your just blind - in General Discussions [original thread]
I normally run logi, but I've been running gallente scout for the last week. I'll copy paste my experiences from a related thread which show how stupidly OP scouts are atm. Quote: Just to illustrate the problem. Before the mouse controls got d...

90. Should tapping R2 also cycle weapons? - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
It'd be nice if it was an option you could toggle. As a logi, it was really helpful to be able to quickly switch through equipment. When they changed it I was really disappointed, but I can see how it would have been painful for pure combat suits.

92. Dust was balanced... - in General Discussions [original thread]
I laugh a little every time someone tries to claim that scouts are balanced right now. I've been running a gallente scout and it very clearly steps on the feet of both the assault and logistics classes. If you want to kill people scout is the way ...

It isn't just assault suits. Running logi for a squad now is both suicide and a way to set isk on fire, because a logi suit costs so much more than an assault suit of the same level and still dies in one or two shots to a scout. Who rushes into yo...

98. How logistics should be played - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
Heh that's another problem. High tier nanohive and repair tool costs are way out of line with other types of equipment, easily adding 20k isk more to the cost of an advanced suit than if you just used uplinks, scanners and needles.

99. I'm noticing a trend in balance issues - in General Discussions [original thread]
It's pretty simple, the only thing that can ever detect a standard or advanced scout suit (with level 5 skills) is another scout suit, or a gal logi with a proto scanner (a fitting that costs way more than the scout). One on one a scout has a slig...

100. How logistics should be played - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
I haven't witnessed a single "slayer logi" in 1.8. I run support logi, but if my weapon became as useful as a nerf gun I'd stop playing logi period. Might as well just take away the weapon slot entirely. Every other suit class is already better at...
