The suit skills don't effect the starter fit you get at the start of the game,just the role category suits like the ones you buy with Aurum that are BPO (dragonfly scout suit,sver minmatar logi suit etc..)and the normal isk cost ones.

All i see is instead of CCP buffing specific suits for more incentive to armor tank and benefit more from it compared to others , they just buffed EVERYONE with armor,kind half asked to me.Doing it this way just opens up more cans of worms no one ...
