On top of everyone else's comments, the saved data is saved as a separate file from the game install, so you won't lose your settings either. Unless you go to the "saved data" part of your PS3 and delete that too.

As far as I'm concerned, Flux Grenades are the other AV Grenade. Try them on a Sica or Gunnlogi sometime. Taking out all an infantry target's shields isn't that important when they're armour tanked. They DO pair quite nicely with SMGs though.
