Well it depends if the game is prolonged, if you do not take part in the battle. If your team is losing, not participating will actually speed up your loss, thus decreasing the number of SP for time spent in battle.

Personally what brings me back constantly is the weekly sp cap. :I I think i have an idea what they want to do with dust in the future, and i want to be able to compete with others. Thus i have to keep grinding so i can be competitive in a year.
