I only agree with new release respec's such as Amarr is the only racial heavy should heavies chose not to spec into it for months on end just because they want the gallente, they should still be able to use heavies while they wait for CCP to release the content. What if I want to get the Amarr or Minmatar tank I shouldn't have to hold off on tanks for over a year. |

respecing has nothing to do with poor decision making, even though sometimes people made an "oops" it is more about the ability to try something new and see how it feels, it makes the game fun...ooo I forgot this game is a job and should not be enjoyed... |

Apparently they are changing up weapons, ranges and stats, in 1.5....AKA nerfing and buffing...all more reasons to offer respecs. |

I don't like respecs cause I've been through 4 Beta builds knowing exactly what to do.
A respec will only let the newer players "catch up" in terms of usefull skillpoint allocation.
We don't want that now do we?

I support this respec. They have made so many changes and nerfs and buffs, that most players have spread out their SP in order to stay competitive. |

So you want a new respec with every new patch because your FOTM isn't the current FOTM anymore? Changing weapon stats is no reason for a respec. I mean really. What do you want? Cry for a respec for years, even though by then your problems have solved themselves because you got enough SP to just spec what you wanted your respec for in the first place? Respecs are senseless, because the need for them is eliminated given enough time anyways. |

I'm starting to believe the only people who are against respecs when drastic changes are made are those people who have already gone through multiple stages of beta and know where to put there points, and laugh at all the noobs who misplaced their points, and do not want to give those guys a chance to properly place their points because that would make the battles more challenging for them. |

Seriously. If I was given a respec I would probably put the vast majority of my points towards the commando role, because despite how terrible of a suit it is, it can be quite fun. |
