It is always sad when there is no heated debated to keep a good topic like this afloat long enough for CCP to respond. There's nothing for us players to really add here. We need a crazy person to argue that the scale in game is just fine and makes sense.

Unfortunately I find unless it's something easily answered,or a joke thread that I'll usually get no responses from ccp.
Likewise unless it's something that greatly effects assault players in a posotive/negitive way, or is a troll thread I'd pretty much get the same reaction from my fellow dusters unless they decide to troll the thread. |

I usually expect CCP to respond to any thread (or at least the subject matter) if the thread goes past 9 pages or so.

Meters are "Feet" ingame and anything that says "Radius" actually means "Diameter"
I have no idea how they program this game at all due to all these measurement inconsistencies.
I mean, if they were NASA they'd be bankrupt. |

I imagine the whole giant clone thing will turn into an inside joke/ video called "Gods and Titans" that explains the differences between Capsuleers, DUST Mercs, and the normal people.
Also. Nasa's little trip to mars a ways back. They've made similar mistakes. Probably not as often is all. Probably has something to do with the 400 QC department people checking EVERYTHING. |

This is actually a fairly good observation. The speed of 8m/s translates to 28 km/hr (17mph). The fastest human sprinter (Usain Bolt) runs 100m in 9.58s. This is 10.4m/s, which translates to 37 km/hr (23mph). We are pretty fast thanks to our drop suits.
The explosive damage radius seems a bit small to me, but I'm not any kind of expert. Are there any people of the military persuasion who could help us with the numbers on this?
