Dear players,
With the 5/14 deployment on the way, we understand that there are questions regarding how AUR/Merc Pack reimbursements and skill respec will work. To answer these questions see below for details of how you can contact our customer support staff to do so. The following information will cover the two types of respec/reset that we plan to do:
Optional AUR/Merc Pack account reset: As part of our reimbursement policy we will be offering players who have purchased a PSN SKU during Closed Beta (before Jan 22, 2013), or bought a GameStop Merc Pack before May 14th, 2013 the option for a full account reset. To obtain an account reset, you must send a ticket to our customer support staff via the official DUST 514 website at http://dust514.com/beta/support/ or send an e-mail to [email protected], specifically requesting a full account reset. When doing so please title your request "Account Reset". The account reset will restore all items and AUR from previously purchased Aurum and/or Merc Packs to your DUST account, as well as any gift/bonus items awarded during the beta. As part of the account reset, all ISK currency and skill points from your characters will be reset to zero, and any items purchased with ISK or earned from salvage will be removed. Character names will be retained. This offer will be available from May 14th to June 30th. Thank you.
Optional skill point respec: Due to upcoming changes to the Skill Tree progression system we will be offering players an one time option to send a petition to our customer support staff via http://dust514.com/beta/support/ and request a character skill point respec. This offer will be available once changes to the Skill Tree progression system is deployed to the Tranquility server and we will keep you posted on the date of that deployment. To obtain an skill respec, you will need to send a ticket to our customer support staff via the official DUST 514 website at http://dust514.com/beta/support/ or send an e-mail to [email protected], specifically requesting a full account reset. When doing so please title your request "Skill Respec".
Please bear in mind that it may take a few days to process your request and enable respecs/reset on your accounts, but by titling your petition with "Account Reset" or "Skill Respec" you can assist us in speeding up this process. Thank you.

Ripristino facoltativo di AUR/Merc Pack
In linea con la nostra policy rimborsi, offriremo ai giocatori che hanno comprato un PSN SKU durate il periodo di Closed Beta (prima del 22 gennaio 2013) o hanno comprato un Merc Pack presso GameStop prima del 14 maggio 2013, la possibilit+á di un ripristino completo dell'account.
Per ottenere questo ripristino, +¿ necessario inviare una petizione al supporto clienti tramite il sito web ufficiale di DUST 514 a http://dust514.com/community/support o inviare una e-mail a [email protected], richiedendo specificatamente un ripristino completo dell'account. Nel fare ci+¦, si prega di scrivere nell'oggetto della richiesta "Ripristina account". Il ripristino dell'account consentir+á il recupero di tutti gli articoli e gli AUR precedentemente acquistati con Aurum e/o Merc Pack dal tuo account DUST, nonch+¬ degli eventuali articoli in regalo/premi assegnati durante la beta. Opci+¦n de puesta a cero de cuenta y devoluci+¦n de AUR/Paquetes Mercenarios:
Como parte de nuestra pol+¡tica de reembolso, todos los jugadores que hayan comprado un PSN SKU durante la beta cerrada (antes del 22 de Enero de 2013) o que hayan adquirido un Paquete Mercernario de Gamestop antes del mes de mayo de 2013, podr+ín acogerse a la opci+¦n de la puesta a cero de su cuenta de DUST 514. I see no mention of the adjustments here, but there is a reference to it in the May 10th blog post titled 'Uprising between now, 5/14 and beyond' (Paragraph 8). (Sorry, link won't post for me)

Why do you need an exact date? the changes to the skills were released yesterday, so some respecs were likely given out this morning and if not, you can expect them to start at any time (at daily downtime)
I mean I understand some folks want to know and plan for it, but let's say CCP says "we will start them on the 23rd.", and then something happens to delay them till the 24th? we all know the "QQ" about "you promised the 23rd CCP why you lie to us?" that will happen, so don't sweat it, it will come when it comes and if you've already submitted your request and received your response, it will be done by the deadline for making the request.

The only reason I want to respec my character, is to get back skill points from foolishly buying way more Corp skill then needed.
I believe all corp skills will stay the same just like last SP refund. |

Okay, so I am trying to get the respec. I cannot see where I have filed my ticket. Allthat comes up when I go to my user panel and click the help ticket to create or view is create a new ticket. I am using a Vita atm, should I fight the family for a few minutes of PC time, or does anyone have other suggestions? |

We have currently processed around 6.000 requests so far will continue to process requests received before downtime on the 31st of June. |

The downside is that if you wish to at some stage re-spec your skills, and do not do it now, you run the risk of not being able to do it in the future, the choice is really yours. |

The choice will always be the players to do it or not (live with what you have, or re-allocate now and plan better - although I think planing may not be his strongest attribute), but the mechanic (and ability for the player to choose at any given time) to do the re-spec is entirely in the hands of ccp. They are offering you a 1 Time Skill Respec until the 31st of May [It's all in their Post at the start]. If you don't get it before then, you don't get it until another Opportunity comes up 1 day. [Could be Months, Could be Years]. Benefits from it would be changing your Skills around that are more suited to your Play Style now you have been playing it for abit. Downside is... well there isn't any.
I don't see how a 1 Time Respec can work in different Scenarios. Would be interested to hear. |

The idea that a once a year or a paid respec is out there on the forums. If you wish to get the ability again to do this then LOBBY CCP. They listen to their customers and have a great deal of work to do fixing and tweaking things each time they deploy an upgrade to Dust. If enough people get behind you there is a real chance that changes will be made that affect how you play and how the game works.
I remember being told in open beta that there would be no more resets of the sp pools on characters and yet they are offering us a chance to do so if you were in the closed beta and purchased a merc pack. This is a result of CCP listening to their customers and applying changes accordingly. |

Same here. Checked toon this morning & no respec. Went and checked ticket, it says timed out waiting for response. The confirmation I got said only to respond if I got it in error. Since I requested it, it was not in error, therefore I did not reply.

your account should have been flagged upon processing of your respec requests(myself and others all received automated responses stating that we had been flagged), at which point, the petition itself is just a direct line of contact should an error occur. but the flag setting should still apply, and the respec should still hit. and if it doesnt hit by the 31st you should be valid in requesting a second petition at that point in time inquiring why you didnt recieve the respec. |
