Dear players,
With the 5/14 deployment on the way, we understand that there are questions regarding how AUR/Merc Pack reimbursements and skill respec will work. To answer these questions see below for details of how you can contact our customer support staff to do so. The following information will cover the two types of respec/reset that we plan to do:
Optional AUR/Merc Pack account reset: As part of our reimbursement policy we will be offering players who have purchased a PSN SKU during Closed Beta (before Jan 22, 2013), or bought a GameStop Merc Pack before May 14th, 2013 the option for a full account reset. To obtain an account reset, you must send a ticket to our customer support staff via the official DUST 514 website at http://dust514.com/beta/support/ or send an e-mail to [email protected], specifically requesting a full account reset. When doing so please title your request "Account Reset". The account reset will restore all items and AUR from previously purchased Aurum and/or Merc Packs to your DUST account, as well as any gift/bonus items awarded during the beta. As part of the account reset, all ISK currency and skill points from your characters will be reset to zero, and any items purchased with ISK or earned from salvage will be removed. Character names will be retained. This offer will be available from May 14th to June 30th. Thank you.
Optional skill point respec: Due to upcoming changes to the Skill Tree progression system we will be offering players an one time option to send a petition to our customer support staff via http://dust514.com/beta/support/ and request a character skill point respec. This offer will be available once changes to the Skill Tree progression system is deployed to the Tranquility server and we will keep you posted on the date of that deployment. To obtain an skill respec, you will need to send a ticket to our customer support staff via the official DUST 514 website at http://dust514.com/beta/support/ or send an e-mail to [email protected], specifically requesting a full account reset. When doing so please title your request "Skill Respec".
Please bear in mind that it may take a few days to process your request and enable respecs/reset on your accounts, but by titling your petition with "Account Reset" or "Skill Respec" you can assist us in speeding up this process. Thank you.
