Optional Respec May Not Come on May 14th

Well you should also then realize that they were never planning to have this optional respec, but since several people are upset with the changes to the skill system they are giving it to everyone. So if you are not upset with the skill system but want a respec you are lucking out.

Release was already planned long before this second respec was decided upon. Guess they don't really think it's a big enough issue to delay the official release for. But then again what exactly does it mean for Dust to officially release? It's been released since it went open beta in January, this is just more of a ceremonial thing than a traditional game release.

What do you think they will lower the specialized suit multiplier to? Right now it is basically a 16x skill (6x from basic, 10x from specialization). If I recall they wanted to bring it back down similar to Chromosome levels, so what if the 10x became a 4x? That would make it like a 10x skill (6x + 4x) which is pretty similar to the 8x from Chromosome. I wouldn't find it conflicting that the specializatin is a cheaper skill than the general frame since that is already a prerequisite. I mean, it takes on average 4 years to get an undergraduate degree but only an additional 2 to get a Masters. So yeah, I'm going to place my guess at making it a combined 10x skill, but that may be pushing it.

I personally think that is a good move because it stops the people who just speed run applying their points from rspeccing tomorrow and then crying for another respec after trying out the new gear in 2-3 matches. Try out new stuff tomorrow and then plan and apply correctly when the respec comes, which is hopefully in a week or two.

However, if you submit a ticket you will get a 100% refund of everything like on May 6th.
