they've done it again, the heavy has been nerfed. we were the gods of closed beta last summer, but now we are the laughing stock of the community. the power from last summer? nothing but a wet dream.
both range AND damage have been reduced on the HMG....AGAIN! congrats assault suits, not much longer and ypu'll get what you've been asking for, a CoD sci-fi nock off.

I have been Heavy all build, but ccp seems to keep on screwing us over. Without SS our range is already bad, but they seem fit to make it even worse. Just to add to the fire we get no new suits while assaults get all 4. I might be running amarr assault suits next build since it seems ccp does not care about balance. |

Um without SS the range of the HMG is only slighly lower than the range of the AR. (dont know about scramblers but they supposedly have more range)
I personally was going to wait to see if the SS change by itself was enough to balance out the HMG but apparently CCP though that the DPS of the HMG was still too high. Who knows what they are thinking sometimes as based on the current information it looks like scramblers will be much better than ARs too. Although I feel kinda bad about this nerf is probably a little too much.....its also hard to feel too bad considering idiots were complaining that the HMG was weak when in reality it wrecked everything. I think the weapon balance in this next build will probably be completely screwed up....not sure but we shall see. |

Except all SS did was give AR users a bigger and bigger advantage each time, even if the heavy had the same level of SS. So removing the skill was all CCP had to do, reducing the HMGs range along side that was just plain dumb. |

simple, people used to twitch play FPSers complained about not being able to kill everything 1v1 with an AR, and they FAR outnumber us people who picked this game up hoping it would be similar to eve, merciless to idiots and rewarding to those who dedicate themselves to a niche playstyle
